Timothee Chalamet fined for riding electric bike to London premiere of 'A Complete Unknown'

PARIS, FRANCE: Timothee Chalamet has disclosed that he had to pay £65, or about $79, after he rode an electric bike to the premiere of his new film, ‘A Complete Unknown’, in London.

The Oscar nominee was photographed on a green-and-white Lime bike during the Tuesday, January 14, event at BFI Southbank. Chalamet donned a navy suit for the premiere, as reported by Us Weekly.

On January 15, during an interview with the French chatshow 'Quotidien', Timothee Chalamet shared why he chose the Lime bike instead of a limo to attend the premiere.

“There was a traffic jam and I actually wasn’t allowed to park there, and I got a £65 fine. And actually it’s horrible because it was an advert for them,” Chalamet said.

Lime bikes are electric bicycles that can be rented in major cities from the Lime transportation company.

The publication reported that after the interview, the 29-year-old French-American actor was seen on a date with Kylie Jenner in Paris.

The couple enjoyed a dinner at an upscale restaurant before getting into Hotel Royal Monceau.

For the date night, Jenner reportedly opted for a black jumpsuit with a halter neckline while her beau was seen in a pair of dark jeans, a white shirt, and a multi-colored houndstooth coat and hat.

The pair was also spotted at the Golden Globe Awards, where they even kissed each other as they sat with Timothee Chalamet’s ‘A Complete Unknown’ co-star Elle Fanning, and her sister, Dakota Fanning.

A tipster later told Page Six, “Timothee is used to attending award shows and events, but it was nice having Kylie there to support him.”

“Kylie really is his best friend and his biggest supporter. They have such a strong connection and he was so thankful she could be there with him,” they added.

The ‘Dune’ star and the 27-year-old socialite even had an early Christmas celebration with Jenner’s children — six-year-old Stormi, 6, and two-year-old son Aire — whom she shares with rapper Travis Scott.

A source revealed, as per Page Six, “They had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights.”

The insider continued, “The kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothee made some very special memories together,” before adding, “Timothee not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful.”
