LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Cruise, 62, appears to be displeased with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, 57, "constantly" bringing him up during her interviews, as shared by a source close to the 'Mission: Impossible' actor to In Touch

This comes just a month after the Australian-American actress opened up about her experience filming Stanley Kubrick's final movie 'Eyes Wide Shut' with her then-husband Cruise.

Per the source, Cruise is not happy with Kidman bringing him up in her recent interviews as "it’s so far in the past and something he’d like to forget."

Tom Cruise has said goodbye to his chapter with Nicole Kidman

The insider told the outlet, "Tom doesn’t understand why Nicole constantly seems to constantly reference the times they shared together."

Possibly citing Kidman’s interview on 'Eyes Wide Shut', they added, "Even if it is more about the work they did together, it still bothers him because it’s so far in the past and something he’d like to forget."

Cruise and Kidman tied the knot in 1990. The former "It" couple of Hollywood, who share two adopted children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, parted ways in 2001.

The source further explained, "He’s said goodbye to that chapter of his life so long ago and doesn’t understand why she can’t do the same, especially since she’s supposedly so happy with Keith."

Following their divorce, the 'Moulin Rouge' actress went on to marry Keith Urban in 2006, and the couple is still growing strong after 18 years of marriage. They share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 13.

"For Nicole, it’s just nonsense because she’s just answering questions that pertain to her career, but there’s no denying she does love to go into detail about Tom’s creative genius," added the tipster.

They went on to claim that Kidman’s "star power was at its peak when she was with Tom," while adding that it was her first marriage to the 'Top Gun' star that "catapulted her to stardom."

"That’s when she really made it. Tom understands all that, but he’s just at a tipping point," stated the insider, before sharing, "He can handle most of the noise and rumors about him, but Nicole has been so poisonous about him to all their mutual friends."

Claiming that it "irritates" Cruise that his ex-wife is "willing to get mileage out of his name when it suits her," the source explained, "He feels used and wishes she’d have the couth to simply make those questions off limits, the way he does."

Nicole Kidman talks about filming 'Eyes Wide Shut' with Tom Cruise

During an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Nicole Kidman shared that Stanley Kubrick took inspiration from her real-life romance with Tom Cruise while filming 'Eyes Wide Shut'.

She shared, "I suppose he was mining it. There were ideas he was interested in. He’d ask a lot of questions. But he had a strong sense of the story he was telling. I do remember him saying, 'Triangles are hard. You have to tread carefully when it’s a triangle.'"

"Because one person could feel ganged up on. But he was aware of that and knew how to manage us," added the 'Big Little Lies' actress.

Further in the interview, Kidman shared that she and Cruise used to live in a trailer despite having a house nearby, as per Hello! Magazine.

"We had a home 10 minutes away, but we lived in that trailer. Tom and I shared it because Stanley would say, 'You're not each getting a trailer. We can't afford it.' Tom had a smaller area because he was running stuff. And he'd play video games. That was when 'Minesweeper' was big. So there was a lot of that," shared the actress.
