Tom Cruise met his Russian socialite girlfriend Elsina Khayrova at one of his London tea parties

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Cruise, 61, met his girlfriend Elsina Khayrova, 36, in true British style, over a cup of tea.

According to insiders, the Hollywood icon—who was first linked to Khayrova in December 2023—is reportedly "growing closer" to the Russian socialite, and they have taken their relationship to the next level.

A source exclusively told Page Six that the 'Mission: Impossible' star first met affluent divorcee Khayrova when a friend invited her to one of his upscale Sunday tea parties at his apartment in Hyde Park, London.

"He’s much more comfortable in London than in LA. He has butlers and homemade cakes and it’s all very British. Someone brought her," remarked the insider. 

Dimitry Tsvetkov, a Russian millionaire who was previously married to Khayrova, told the Daily Mail that their 11-year marriage cost him $188 million (£150 million), with clothes costing him $13 million (£10 million) and handbags costing him $2.5 million (£2 million).

The alleged "top secret" parties attended by Cruise and Khayrova have already garnered media attention. They were first seen together in early December 2023 at a party in Grosvenor Square, where they "spent most [of] the night dancing."

According to The Sun, a week later, he booked out the whole floor of the upscale Novikov restaurant in London so that they could eat in privacy and indulge in over $600 worth of lobster, shellfish, and sushi.

An insider informed the magazine, "It’s well known within Elsina’s circle that she and Tom are now an item. They’ve grown very close over the past few weeks but take a lot of care not to be photographed together because they want to maintain their privacy."

According to reports, Cruise, 61, and Russian socialite Khayrova, 36, are "getting closer," and sources claim that the two recently decided to make their relationship "official."

"It's well known within Elsina's circle that she and Tom are now an item," told a source to Daily Mail.

The 'Mission Impossible' actor has been spending the night at his new lover's $12 million Knightsbridge, London flat. "They've grown very close over the past few weeks but take a lot of care not to be photographed together because they want to maintain their privacy," stated the insider.

They added, "Tom has been staying the night at Elsina's apartment, which as you can imagine, is a very beautiful place. They enjoy hanging out together and despite their wealth, they do a lot of the things that normal couples do." 

Cruise and Khayrova are focusing on privacy even after "making things official." However, they were recently photographed at an Air Ambulance Charity celebration in London. But, to avoid drawing too much notice, they did arrive separately.
