LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Superstar Tom Cruise is reportedly risking his health every day as he pushes his body to the extreme by deep diving into oxygen tanks and taping his mouth shut at night, claims a source.
The Hollywood hunk, who has mastered an array of daredevil stunts known to mankind, seemingly intends to control the natural process of aging as well, shared an insider to RadarOnline.
The source further noted that the actor, who is well into his seventh decade of life, is “risking death” as he undergoes a grueling process to stay young.

The health-conscious star noted, "The training and preparation we put into this film is a culmination of all before it. From the depths, to the skies, I can't wait to share more with you.”
However, the insider warned that everything is not as rosy as it seems, as “Tom is always pushing his body to improve.”
The insider continued, "A few years ago, he started to get interested in all aspects of breathing and how dialing it in can be a game-changer for overall health.”
As the ‘Top Gun’ star is intent on pushing the reverse gear in his life to improve his overall health, the source shared, “The first thing he did was taping his mouth shut at night to ensure that he was breathing through his nose."
"It's bizarre because he looks like he's in some sort of hostage situation every time he goes to bed, but he claims it's done wonders for his health,” added the insider while painting a grim picture.
They continued, "Tom had a special tank built where he can practice holding his breath underwater every day. It's part of his insane workout routine now.”
Moreover, the insider claimed that to maintain his eternal youth, the ‘Jerry Maguire’ star has also been undergoing a number of difficult practices.
“On top of his cold plunges and his breathing challenges and daily cryotherapy, he now goes to these hyperbaric oxygen chambers several times a week to binge oxygen,” added the mole, noting, “He swears it's helping to keep him young!"
Other sources have also claimed that the actor, who has built quite a reputation in Hollywood for his penchant for doing his own death-defying stunts, is frighteningly “risking death” with the plunges, as they claim if anything goes awry, it can devastate internal organs or cause brain damage.
