The two have gotten to know each other amid the long-standing legal battle between Jolie and Brad Pitt.

"Over the past few years, they’ve had conversations about working together, it’s just about finding the right project. And lately, Jollie has seemed more open to getting to know him socially, too,” an insider disclosed to the outlet.
It added, “Tom raves about Ange’s intellect and what a strong, impressive woman she is. He loves that she’s never really conformed in Hollywood.”
The insider added, “Plus, they’re both such superstars, only a handful of people can truly understand the life they live. That in itself creates a bond.”
"His goal right now is to convince her to work with him, then he’ll romance her,” the insider said to the outlet. “He’s being careful not to come on too strong, but he wants to take it out of the friend zone.”

Jolie and Pitt were together for 14 years before their split and share six children: Maddox, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 16, Knox, 14, and Vivienne, 14.
Now, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has decided to take legal action to legally drop her father's surname by hiring her own attorney, amid the ongoing legal battle between her mother Angelina Jolie, and estranged father Brad Pitt.
Shiloh decided to take the step after her sister Vivienne removed her last name.
