"It's mad brick out here, B," Chet Hanks said in the clip, walking through a snowy New York City street. "Word to my muvva, I'm bricked up," he added, fully embracing his new persona.

The video quickly made waves after being reposted by Hollywood Unlocked, with viewers flocking to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One individual wondered, "Whats wrong with him??" while another person mocked him, saying, "I know Tom wakes up everyday amazed and flabbergasted that this is his child." "I bet Tom declines his calls," wrote another.

"This man is having an identity crisis!" wrote one more. "Someone stop this man please. It’s not cute anymore. Is cringe af," another Instagram user stated.

Speaking on an episode of 'The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets', Chet shared harrowing details of a three-day cocaine binge in Las Vegas that marked his lowest point.

"I didn’t eat, sleep, or drink water for three days straight," he revealed, describing how the experience left him physically and emotionally depleted. "I lost 27 pounds in those three days. My disease is gnarly—it’s not pretty."

Following this episode, he made the decision to check himself into rehab, calling it a necessary step to save his life. "I was 31, broke, strung out, and at rock bottom. I knew if I didn’t change my life drastically, I wasn’t going to make it."

Now two years sober, Chet reflected on his journey during the August 14 episode of the VH1 show. Using a sobriety tracking app to mark the milestone, he celebrated his progress with castmates Macy Gray and Tyler Posey, emphasizing how far he has come.
