Donald Trump will be the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl
Donald Trump, 78, will be attending Sunday's championship game in New Orleans.
According to New York Post, Trump will become the first sitting president to go to a Super Bowl.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem are also expected to join him at the game, according to the publication's sources.

"That's awesome. It's a great honor," Kelce, 35, told reporters.
"I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life, you know, and having the president there — it's the best country in the world — and that's pretty cool," Kelce said, People reported.
Travis Kelce's neutral stance on politics
Travis Kelce, 35, and his Chiefs teammates, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes, will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9.
The tight end’s positive reaction to Trump attending the annual game echoes the neutral stance he has publicly taken in politics.

In June 2024, Kelce told his brother, Jason Kelce, on their 'New Heights' podcast that it is “always an honor” to go to the White House after winning a Super Bowl no matter who the president is at that time.
"I’m doing it every time no matter who’s up there at the helm,” he said in the episode.
Joe Biden had invited Travis and the Chiefs to the White House last May 2024 after they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas in Super Bowl LVIII.
Notably, in the 2024 presidential election, Travis did not publicly endorse Trump or Kamala Harris.
Taylor Swift's public support to Democrats and Donald Trump's reaction
However, on the other hand, his girlfriend Taylor Swift publically endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. She also took a brutal swipe at VP JD Vance for his childless cat ladies' remarks by posting a picture with a cat.

"I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them," Swift wrote in her Instagram post before the elections.

"I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos," Swift added.
On September, 11, a day after the singer, 35, made her support of the Democratic candidate publicly known, Trump said in an interview with Fox & Friends that he "was not a fan of Taylor Swift."
He added, "It was just a question of time... But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat. And she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace."

Trump also took to Truth Social to declare, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT."
