NEWS ORLEANS, LOUSIANA: Travis Kelce made a brief appearance on social media following the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl 2025 loss, providing fans with what they called "proof of life."

The NFL star, who skipped the team’s afterparty, connected with The Chainsmokers over FaceTime, sharing a low-key moment after the game.

Notably, Travis Kelce appeared emotional during a post-game interview after the Chiefs' 40-22 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

A source told Page Six that many Chiefs players, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, decided to skip the afterparty.

"Everyone just went back to their rooms or Airbnbs and just stayed in," the source told the publication.

The insider noted that the afterparty was attended by the players' friends and family members instead.

Instead of attending the gathering, Travis Kelce, 35, was seen on a video call, a short clip of which was shared on social media.

The video was shared by The Chainsmokers' Alex Pall and Drew Taggart over the weekend. "It’s what we signed up for," the duo captioned the video.

During the call, Taggart, also 35, told Kelce, "I just played your f*****g party," referring to the team’s afterparty where Quavo and Machine Gun Kelly performed.

Kelce, appearing excited, responded, "Dom is here too," and panned the camera to reveal DJ Dom Dolla by his side.

Notably, Taylor Swift did not appear in the video. Taggart reacted to the moment by saying, "Jesus Christ."

Fans react to Travis Kelce's video after Chiefs' loss, say it is 'proof of life' 

Fans on social media were relieved to see Kelce after the tough loss.

"Thank you, I just wanted to see him smile. I feel much better," one user commented on X.

Another fan wrote, "This honestly means everything- just seeing him smile- I’m glad he’s good."

"Proof of life. Thank you," another person added. A different user wrote, "I knew Travis & Taylor and friends would still be out there having a good time #ChiefsKingdom."
