The Kansas City Chiefs tight end offered a charming explanation of how the 'Fortnight' hitmaker inspired him to improve as a football player ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl during a recent press conference in New Orleans.

The Kansas City Chiefs star discussed his pursuit of a fifth title ring as a new goal ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.

His teammates, who will play the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 in New Orleans, are not the only ones encouraging him to give it his best on the field this time around.

During a press conference at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Monday, February 3, the Chiefs star said that his pop star girlfriend is currently his most recent source of inspiration.

Kelce said, "I better hold up my end of the bargain, right? I mean, if she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, I better match that energy for sure." 

During the conference, media barraged the Chiefs star with questions about the 'Blank Space' singer. He was even asked if he had plans to pop the question to Swift following Super Bowl Sunday. 

"Wouldn’t you like to know," Kelce joked.

The tight end also acknowledged that 'The Tortured Poets Department', which features a few songs allegedly written about him, is his favorite Swift album, as per Page Six.

When a reporter questioned him regarding the notion that Swift has been the Chiefs' lucky charm, he replied, "I think we both love to manifest things. You can’t say it’s not real because we’re here, right?"

Elsewhere in the interview, Kelce answered a reporter's question on the 'Lover' singer's famous baking abilities. "She’s quite the cook. I’m a breakfast guy, man. Her homemade pop-tarts are unbelievable," he remarked, as per E! News.

The 14-time Grammy winner will undoubtedly be supporting her boyfriend and his teammates as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles at this weekend's game.
