KANSAS, MISSOURI: Travis Kelce is also feeling the pinch of the 2024 Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs star joked that he is spending a fortune on tickets for his loved ones to watch him play in the biggest game of the year.

Travis Kelce is trying to be on top of the finances to buy Super Bowl tickets 

The brothers shared their frustrations in the latest episode of their 'New Heights' podcast.

“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” Travis said.

“Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money,” he joked.

The tight end, who has a net worth of $30 million, according to reports, is not alone in his dilemma. Other players and their families have also expressed how hard it is to afford the VIP suites at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas where the Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 11.



 

Christian McCaffrey’s mother says Super Bowl suites are 'outrageously expensive'

Lisa McCaffrey, the mother of San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey is one of them.

She said on her 'Your Mom' podcast that none of her family members, including her son and his fiancee Olivia Culpo, can afford a suite.

“We looked into a suite, and none of us can afford it,” she said, adding “Not even Christian, money bags over there — nor money bags Olivia.”

"So, we are not in a suite. I’ll tell you that right now," she said as Us Weekly reports.

She added that she was able to “negotiate” a reserved area with eight tickets for her son’s game against the Chiefs.

However, she said that his “best friends” would have to watch him from a nearby bar and meet up with him later.

“Long story short, they are outrageously expensive. … I don’t know if it’s the Taylor Swift factor, I don’t know if it’s the first time in Vegas factor, there is just so much going on,” she explained.

Donna Kelce, the mother of Travis Kelce, is also feeling the Super Bowl ticket crunch.

She said on the 'Today' show on Wednesday, February 7, that she does not think she would be sitting in a suite either.

“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” she said.

She said that she would probably be in the stands with everyone else because it is “a pricey Super Bowl.”

Travis Kelce, who is dating pop star Taylor Swift, is hoping to win his second Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs on Sunday, February 11.

He will also be looking forward to spending some quality time with his family and friends after the game, regardless of the cost.
