SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA: Despite Travis Kelce's poor golf swing at the 2024 American Century Championship (ACC), a fan pointed out that he's still Taylor Swift's boyfriend.

The NFL player, taking part in the celebrity charity tournament at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Nevada from Friday, July 12, to Sunday, July 14, received some encouraging words after making a poor shot.

This comes after Kelce made headlines for shouting Swift's name during a karaoke contest, where he also won and dedicated his performance to her.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Travis Kelce is seen swinging a golf club at the ball before quickly exclaiming, “Oh no!” A fan then shouted, “It’s alright, you still got Taylor!”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end pointed to the crowd and replied, “You ain’t lying there," as People reported. The crowd laughed at his reaction as he handed his golf club to a caddie. Kelce waved to the audience before heading to his next hole on the course.

The 14-time Grammy winner was clearly on his mind, as several of her songs played while Kelce teed off during the first and second rounds. At one point, Kelce bopped his head and sang along to a remix of Swift's 'Lavender Haze' from her 2022 album 'Midnights,' as seen in a social media video from NBC Sports Bay Area & CA.

Other songs that played while the footballer was getting ready to swing included 'Fortnight' from her 2024 album 'The Torture Poet’s Department' and 'Love Story' from her 2008 album 'Fearless.'

Kelce is competing in the ACC tournament alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, while their father, Ed Kelce, and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, cheer them on from the sidelines.

Several other sports stars, including Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Derek Carr, Baker Mayfield, Trevor Lawrence, Joe Flacco, and Kyle Juszczyk, are also participating in the tournament, along with celebrities like Don Cheadle, Michael Peña, Rob McElhenney, and Miles Teller.
