During an interview on 'The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1', on Tuesday, July 2, the singer of "Close to You" reminisced about a conversation with Kelce before their surprise appearances at Swift's Eras Tour show at London's Wembley Stadium.

Abrams, 24, shared, "Before we both went on, we were in the tent, and he was like — he went on right before I did, like, I think two songs or something. He’s like, ‘I’ll mess up so you look really good.'”

Reflecting on the atmosphere of the Eras Tour, she added, "The thing is, is it’s just a community of really supportive people. Truly, everyone, whether you’re in the tent or in the top row in the stadium, it’s like everyone is there because there is such deep joy and feeling associated with all of the music that she’s put out over the past 18 years and it’s like, I don’t know. It’s a really magical thing."

After Abrams' remarks involving Swift and Kelce, many people reacted with comments on Facebook.

One user said, "This is one of my favorite." The second user mocked, "That sounds lol." The third user exclaimed, "Wow he said that?!"

The fourth user criticized, “He should never have been on stage with Taylor, totally inappropriate, he's a total opportunist !!!”

In an exclusive clip from her interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music on Monday, June 24, Abrams recounted the story behind the song "Us" with Swift and a kitchen fire

That evening, Abrams and Swift discussed their upcoming projects and decided to return to the "Cruel Summer" singer's apartment to share songs with each other.

"We opened a bottle of wine and we went song for song in the kitchen and we were being theater kids," Abrams recalled, describing how they ran around the center island, playing songs and listening to "sketches" from producer Aaron Dessner.

They heard the opening guitar strings of "Us," which inspired them to write a new song. Fortunately, Swift had a fire extinguisher on hand to put out a candle that caused a small fire. Although they both coughed for weeks and suffered minor burns from the wax, Abrams reflected, "But 'Us' came from that night, so that was a really good night."
