NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend, broke her silence after wildly celebrating his Super Bowl loss on the field.

Kayla Nicole celebrates Eagles' victory over the Chiefs

Kayla Nicole and Travis Kelce were in a relationship for about five years before parting ways.

With Kelce now dating Taylor Swift, his fame has skyrocketed.

Both Swift and Nicole were present at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, albeit in different sections, as the Chiefs faced a tough 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

During the game, Nicole was seen cheering for the Eagles. She shared videos and pictures on her Instagram Story, writing, "Where's the bandwagon emoji?" MEAWW reported.

In another post, she reinforced her support, stating, "They said there's room on the wagon yall."

She posted images and videos throwing green confetti into the air, moments that some interpreted were directed at Kelce's team. One clip captured her shouting along with the crowd, chanting, "Fly, Eagles, fly."



 

Nicole enthusiastically joined in spelling out "E-A-G-L-E-S" with her fingers as she celebrated Philadelphia's dominant performance on the field.

Kayla Nicole reflects on the Super Bowl's unique atmosphere

Kayla Nicole, who received backlash for celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles win which many perceived as a dig at Travis Kelce, opened up on what makes the Super Bowl special, highlighting the electric atmosphere and historic significance of the iconic event.

"What makes the Super Bowl so special? Beyond it being the ultimate showcase of the two most elite and talented teams in the sport, the enneerrgyyy is literally palpable," Nicole wrote on Instagram.

She added, "The collective excitement of fans and the high stakes of the match up create an atmosphere that makes you physically feel the pulse of the game."

Nicole expressed her appreciation for being part of the experience, adding, "There’s no bad seat in the house because every person in that stadium—whether they have a dog in the fight or not—is hyped to have a seat at a table in history."

Kayla Nicole says she's been 'enthralled by the individual storylines'

Kayla Nicole highlighted the human element behind the game, saying, "We often minimize the humanity of the game by focusing on teams/titles/wins/losses."

"Obviously, football is a team sport where winning is always the goal, but I’ve always been more enthralled by the individual storylines."

She continued, "The names on the back of those jerseys, the hurdles they’ve had to overcome, and the pride they must all feel to be talented enough to even make it to a stage like this one."

Talking about the dedication of the athletes, Nicole said, "Every player on that field is on a relentless pursuit of greatness, and I think it’s pretty freaking dope we get to witness," Daily Mail reported.
