WALKER, MICHIGAN: Donald Trump sparked mockery on social media after making a weird statement about his opponent Kamala Harris.

The former president was in Walker, Michigan, on Friday, September 27, delivering a speech when he bizarrely claimed the Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee would take away people's cars, money and guns if she is elected this November, as reported by OK! Magazine.

Donald Trump's bizarre claim against Kamala Harris

Donald Trump told the attendees, “If Kamala Harris wins, she will take your cars, take your money and take your guns. She wants to confiscate all guns, you know that.”

Trump has always been an opponent of Joe Biden's administration's electric car policies and gun control laws.

While the POTUS believes in transitioning from gas-powered vehicles to electric cars, the 45th president called it the killing of the US auto industry.

He, however, last month reportedly said, “I’m for electric cars, I have to be because Elon endorsed me very strongly.”

Also, regarding gun control policies, Trump promised thousands of his supporters at an event earlier this year that one of his first tasks after becoming president would be to remove all restrictions enacted by Biden.

“Every single Biden attack on gun owners and manufacturers will be terminated my very first week back in office, perhaps my first day," he added.

Internet reacts to Donald Trump's claims against Kamala Harris

Donald Trump's bizarre accusation against Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris went viral on the internet with people reacting to it.

A person on X (formerly Twitter) commented on Donald Trump's remarks made at the Michigan campaign event, “Trump's guns were already confiscated because he's a convicted felon. Also, Trump said he wants to put a 200% sales tax tariff on all imported cars. Soooo, he's the one that's going to take your money.”

Another person tweeted, “If you believe that…Trump has already confiscated your brain.”

The third one noted, “According to Trump, Democrats are anti-gun, anti-car, anti-gas ovens, anti-employer, anti-worker, anti-life, anti-choice and anti-whatever he needs to say so people will start supporting him again. He's absolutely lost it.”

The fourth user stated, “He's so desperate it's pathetic. ‘If Kamala wins she'll require more homework and I'll give everyone from beer and ice cream and no school on Fridays. Vote for me!’”

A person added, “If Kamala wins, she'll confiscate your car? If Trump wins, he'll confiscate your rights, your Social Security, your Medicare, and institute a nationwide abortion ban. He'll raise taxes on the middle class and increase the cost of consumer goods with his ridiculous tariffs. Ok.”

“Any lie will do for the most gullible voters on earth. The most unpatriotic thing Americans can do is vote for Trump. He hates our government & our allies & always put his Hatriot self & Russia First!” another mentioned.

A tweet read, “Is anyone around him telling him how stupid he sounds?”

“I’m okay with that. Having Kamala Harris as my president is well worth it,” another tweet read.

Kamala Harris slams Donald Trump for his 'lies' during presidential debate

During their presidential debate on September 10, Donald Trump accused Kamala Harris of having a plan “to defund the police".

“She has a plan to confiscate everybody's gun. She planned to allow fracking in Pennsylvania or anywhere else,” he asserted, as per Fox News.

But Harris fired back, claiming that she has made her "position on fracking and then this business about taking everyone's guns away" very clear.

"Tim Walz and I are both gun owners," she said, before asserting, "We're not taking anybody's guns away. So stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.”
