WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump's campaign staffers have been warned they could lose their jobs if they speak to the media before the November election.

This comes from a leaked email from his co-campaign managers, Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles, where strict communication policies were reiterated.

Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles warn campaign staffers 'not deviate from this policy'

The email which revealed clear instructions for the campaign team was obtained by NBC News.

The campaign team leaders reminded staffers that staying on message is crucial for their success, and any deviation could jeopardize not only their positions but also Trump’s standing.

In the email, LaCivita and Wiles reportedly told staff that “you should not be independently speaking or communicating with any members of the press — on or off the record.”

They stressed that the campaign had managed to avoid leaks so far because “everyone knows what the policy is and what we expect from everyone.”

They added, "Information is power — and the press doesn’t give a damn if you lose your job because you spoke out of school,” in the email, implying that any violation of the rules could lead to immediate termination.

“Please do not deviate from this policy. Success requires buy-in from everyone," they said, suggesting strict adherence to internal guidelines.

Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles also reminded the staff of the high stakes, saying, “If just one of us goes off course, it jeopardizes not only the team, but also President Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot.”

They closed the memo by stating, “We have 61 days left until victory,” a declaration some have questioned due to Kamala Harris’ 3.1-point lead over Trump in polls at the time.

Interestingly, this is not the first instance of internal emails being leaked from the campaign.
