CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: It was widely assumed that the GOP contender for the 2024 presidential race, former President Donald Trump, would be seen in a mellower avatar after the assassination attempt on him at a Pennsylvania rally on July 13.

However, Trump spoke about the assassination attempt made against him during a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday, July 24, and it seems the Republican leader is no mood "to be nice".

He said, as reported by the Daily Beast, “You know, I was supposed to be nice. They say, something happened to me when I got shot—I became nice.”

Trump calls his opponents ‘very dangerous people’

He, however, mentioned, “And when you’re dealing with these people—they’re very dangerous people—when you’re dealing with them, you can’t be too nice. You really can’t be.”

“So if you don’t mind, I’m not going to be nice. Is that ok?” the Republican presidential nominee asserted.

Trump also attacked his likely opponent Kamala Harris after Joe Biden dropped out from the presidential race.

Trump calls out Kamala Harris for ‘a terrible job’

Calling her “Lyin’ Kamala Harris,” he stated, as per CNN, “Kamala Harris has been the ultra-liberal driving force behind every single Biden catastrophe.”

“This November, the American people are going to tell her, ‘No thanks, Kamala. You’ve done a terrible job. You’ve been terrible at everything,'” he told the crowd.

Trump added, “A vote for Kamala is a vote for four more years of dishonesty and incompetence, weakness and failure.”

Internet says ‘TrumpIsScrewed’

Meanwhile, people have slammed the 45th president online with a user on X tweeting, “This man will never change, his parents failed to properly discipline him.”

Another user wrote, “We’re aware.”

The third user commented, “What's new? Blah blah blah that's all I hear when he talks!”

The fourth user stated, “Trump has never been nice. We won’t miss him when he’s paying for his crimes.”

The fifth user shared, “Nobody ever believed he would after that fake show.”

The sixth one said, “Good. We expected no less — it’s Harris’ path to victory. #TrumpIsScrewed.”

A person expressed, “So, good - we don't have to hear anymore from Trump about being "saved by the grace of God Almighty" anymore. I'm sure hearing that crap coming from Trump's hateful mouth made whatever god he was referring to cringe.”

The second one alleged, “He staged it. Should be arrested for accessory to murder.”

“He must have had something very traumatic happen to him as a child. No one could be this bitter by choice. I feel sorry for him,” a tweet read.

Another tweet was “Like I’ve been saying, he is incapable of change. I’m surprised he actually admits that.”

“He can’t be. And, after the faked assassination attempt. The truth will come out,” a person added.
