JUPITER, FLORIDA: Donald Trump Jr recently sat down for an interview with Vivek Ramaswamy on his podcast 'Triggered,' where he made some grandiose claims about his prowess as a real estate mogul before entering the political arena.

However, these self-aggrandizing assertions were soon met with widespread skepticism and mockery online.

From accusations that he rode his father’s coattails to the White House to questions about whether he could have succeeded without heavy family financial backing, Trump Jr’s attempts to portray himself as an ambitious trailblazer quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Donald Trump Jr boasts about successful real estate career before turning to politics

While interviewing Ramaswamy on a recent episode of his podcast 'Triggered,' Trump Jr drew comparisons between their career paths, noting how both transitioned from business into politics and publishing.

Trump Jr proudly claimed he was a successful real estate mogul before becoming a political operative and bestselling author. However, this claim comes at a tumultuous time for the Trump family.

Donald Trump is entangled in a civil fraud case that alleges the manipulation of property values and net worth. The Trump Organization has undergone significant downsizing, with the family name removed from several touted properties, facing tenant losses and struggling profits, as reported by The New York Times.

New York Attorney General Letitia James has accused the former president and his company, alongside Trump Jr and Eric, of fraudulently inflating their asset values to secure favorable loans.

Internet mocks Donald Trump Jr for his recent podcast claims

Upon hearing of Trump Jr's podcast claims, the internet swiftly ignited with a barrage of mocking reactions.

One X user pointedly remarked, "The Trumps certainly have a different version of successful real estate business people." A second user chimed in, sarcastically asking, "All without daddy's help right?"

A third user injected humor into the discussion, stating, "Thrust into politics? More like riding on daddy's golf cart." Another critic joined the chorus, asserting, "He wasn't a mogul and he wasn't very successful, and his books don't sell."

Amid the online backlash, a fifth user drew attention to a specific moment during the podcast, commenting, "Also, I love the dead look in Vivek's eyes as he has to sit there and listen to Jr tell him about how great he is."

Notably, a sixth commentator playfully observed, "The books you'll find at Dollar Tree for $1.25 now."
