WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump launched a blistering attack on Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paramount on Monday, December 8, denouncing the outgoing Georgia congresswoman as a “traitor” just hours after her appearance on CBS’s '60 Minutes'.

In an extended tirade on Truth Social, Trump mocked Greene as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown,” claimed that she had been “jilted,” and declared that her ideas were now “really bad.”

"The only reason Marjorie “Traitor” Brown (Green turns Brown under stress!) went BAD is that she was JILTED by the President of the United States (Certainly not the first time she has been jilted!)," he wrote.

"Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are, NOW, really BAD – She sort of reminds me of a Rotten Apple! Marjorie is not AMERICA FIRST or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person," he added.

Trump also directs his fury at Paramount

But Trump’s fury was not limited to Greene. He directed much of his anger at CBS and its new owner, Paramount, for airing the interview, demanding a “total apology” from the program and longtime host Lesley Stahl.

"That was proven last night when washed up, Trump hating, 60 Minutes “correspondent,” Lesley Stahl, who still owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show (with serious conviction!)," he added.

"That Hunter Biden’s LAPTOP FROM HELL was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself (TOTALLY PROVEN WRONG!), interviewed a very poorly prepared Traitor, who in her confusion made many really stupid statements," Trump stated.

He accused the network of declining standards, writing that '60 Minutes' had “actually gotten WORSE” under new ownership.

"My real problem with the show, however, wasn’t the low IQ traitor, it was that the new ownership of 60 Minutes, Paramount, would allow a show like this to air," the president added.

"THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE OLD OWNERSHIP, who just paid me millions of Dollars for FAKE REPORTING about your favorite President, ME! Since they bought it, 60 Minutes has actually gotten WORSE," he continued.

Further, he wrote, "PS I hereby demand a complete and total APOLOGY, though far too late to be meaningful, from Lesley Stahl and 60 Minutes for her incorrect and Libelous statements about Hunter’s Laptop!"

Marjorie Taylor Greene describes ‘toxic’ GOP culture

The president’s outburst came in response to Greene’s interview with Stahl.

Once one of Trump’s most fervent defenders, Greene said she had grown concerned that Trump’s rhetoric “directly fueled” violent threats against her family, citing one email that claimed a pipe bomb had been planted near her son.

She also told CBS that many Republicans privately disparaged Trump by mimicking his voice and mocking his mannerisms, only to “kiss his a**” once he secured the 2024 nomination.

Greene accused the party of being “terrified” of crossing him, fearing relentless attacks from his social media accounts.

Greene told CBS News’ '60 Minutes', “For an ‘America First’ president, the No 1 focus should have been domestic policy, and it wasn’t. And so, of course, I was critical, because those were my campaign promises.”

She added, “Once we fix everything here, then fine, we’ll talk to the rest of the world.”

In one of her most striking claims, Greene charged that Trump was now prioritizing foreign powerbrokers, including “the al-Q***a leader … now governing Syria”, over domestic needs, suggesting he had lost touch with the voters who once formed his base.

When Lesley Stahl asked Greene, “Are you MAGA?” she replied, “I am America First.”

Stahl noted, “And that’s not the same as MAGA.” Greene responded, “MAGA is President Trump’s phrase. That’s his political policy. I call myself America First.” Stahl clarified, “But you are not saying you are MAGA.” Greene nodded, repeating, “I call myself America First.”
