'You got it': Internet agrees as Joy Behar warns of anti-Israel protests potentially fueling Trump's return
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The View' co-host Joy Behar expressed that anti-Israel campus protests could inadvertently pave the way for President Donald Trump's return to the White House.
During a discussion about Trump's recent interview with Time Magazine on Tuesday, April 30, Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out how President Joe Biden and the ex-POTUS are "neck-in-neck" in the polls, which Behar thinks is "very scary stuff."
Joy Behar says why she thinks anti-Israel protests can lead to Donald Trump's reelection
Subsequently, Behar pointed out why she thinks Trump was terrible as a president before noting that young voters aren't leaning toward Biden for the upcoming election.
She stated, "A lot of these kids who are protesting, I think that they don’t understand because they're saying that kids, 26-year-olds and under, are not feeling President Biden… And this type of protest that we talk about, we talked about it yesterday, I think that that will put Trump right back into the White House."

"So they better be careful what they want. Because this is the generation that’s going to lose their abortion rights and their voting rights. They’re the ones to be worried. You don’t replace dissatisfaction with a dictatorship," continued the 81-year-old.

Ana Navarro warns young voters about the possible consequences of sitting out the 2024 election
During the Monday episode, Ana Navarro issued a similar warning to young voters after learning that some anti-Israel protesters were considering sitting out the 2024 election.
She said, "The only thing I want to remind Americans, though, as they’re protesting is, you know, and we heard it. We’ve heard it. We've heard them call Joe Biden a genocidal assassin and all sorts of things. There is not one group that anybody is protesting over that will be better off under Donald Trump."
"So be very careful that you don’t cut off your nose to spite your face by not showing up to vote in November," stressed Navarro.
Whoopi Goldberg advocated for balanced media coverage amid protests
In Monday's episode, Whoopi Goldberg urged caution regarding media coverage of the protests, highlighting the importance of showcasing peaceful activism and genuine calls for change among students.
She claimed, "Part of our problem is the media takes what is the best clickbait. So, you see the same posters or you see the same people, but you don't see the folks who are doing peaceful stuff and saying, 'Here's what we want to do.'"
"I would caution the media to be very careful about what they're doing, and how they're handling this because what they seem to be doing is pushing a narrative that people are pushing against, which students are pushing against, which I'm thrilled to see because I like when students get mad and say, ‘We want a change made,'" remarked 'The View' co-host.
Columbia University takes strict measures against anti-Israel protesters
The anti-Israel protests on college campuses have led to hundreds of arrests and suspensions, with Columbia University officials issuing warnings to protesters occupying academic buildings, as per Fox News.
Emphasizing safety and adherence to university policies, officials stated that disruptive protests would not be tolerated.
Columbia spokesman Ben Chang clarified that actions against protesters were in response to violations of university policies, rather than the cause they were advocating for.
He further noted that anyone who respected university policies would be allowed to finish the academic year. Those who violated university policies have now been suspended.
Internet reacts to Joy Behar's fears regarding campus unrest
Echoing Behar's statement, one wrote, "'You don't replace dissatisfaction with a dictatorship.' Great point, Joy," and another added, "Why doesn't Time magazine ask US what WE will do if he gets back in to the white house?"
"TIME Magazine should NOT even be Interviewing Trump, let alone, put him on the Cover!" remarked a person, while someone else stated, "I hope the Millennials are thinking about democracy!!!"
An individual opined, "Chump is a simple individual. While he's a pathological liar, he's honest when it comes to his most malicious intentions, no matter how unlawful. So, believe he would attempt his absolute worst if he were to return."
"Welcome back Joy Behar," expressed one more viewer and another person hailed Behar, saying, "Keep speaking the truth! Thank you."
An X (formerly Twitter) user asked, "So she doesn’t fear for Jewish students being threatened but only that Trump may get reelected ??"
"It will.. chaos is Joe Bidens legacy both here at home and abroad. So be scared Joy because the Trump Train is coming!" declared another netizen as one more said, "You got it. How’s it feel to be on the wrong side of history?"
