WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: President Donald Trump, while speaking with military service members on Thanksgiving Day, turned the conversation to his golf achievements. "I've won 38 golf championships, and I don't get to practice very much," he said.

He later added, "I beat a 27-year-old kid and won 38 golf championships," and described himself as a "good golfer." When asked whether a golf match with Joe Biden would ever happen, Trump claimed the former president never accepted the invitation, before adding that Biden "can't play."

Trump boasts he has won 38 Club Championships 'legitimately'

Praising his own golf accomplishments during the call, Donald Trump said, "I know a lot about golf. I've won 38 Club Championships, and I don't get to practice much. I won one. Last year, I won a club championship at a big Club, beating a 27-year-old kid."

He continued sharing stories about his game, adding, "I've been a good golfer over the years. I went when you went. You know, Club Championships are our Majors. You know that most people can't play in them. They won't. We're talking about no Strokes or anything else. So, I'm a very low handicap, and I've won 38 of them legitimately."

Trump emphasized the legitimacy of his wins, saying, "It has to be legitimate because you have a lot of people following you during Club Championships. I got to be right around scratch. You were better. I beat a uh plus three. That's three better than three below par."

He went on to recount another moment, saying, "If you look at it. For those that don't know in the finals of the club Championship last year with all I was going through. And with no practice. So, uh, I'm a good golfer. Yeah, I would have to say that I want to be honest. I have to be honest."

Trump says Biden will not accept his golf match invitation

Donald Trump addressed questions about the long-discussed golf match proposed during the 2024 presidential debate. He was asked when the match between him and Biden might actually take place.

He said, "I'd LOVED to. I invited him, but he doesn't wanna show up! A lot of people talk, but can't play, like BIDEN!" Trump then went on to criticize Joe Biden’s golfing ability, saying, "He can't hit a ball 30 yards. I looked at his swing. He cannot hit a ball 30 yards. He said he was a 6 handicap... he's not A HUNDRED!"
