Tyrese Gibson accuses Trump supporters of spreading false information about him being on 'Diddy tape'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson has accused Donald Trump supporters of disseminating false information about him being on a malicious recording by Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The 'Fast & Furious' star said that the MAGA supporters were shaming him for criticizing the president-elect by spreading rumors that there is a "compromising" video of him with the disgraced music producer, reported OK! Magazine.
Tyrese Gibson says there is 'no such thing' as a 'Diddy tape' featuring him
In a heated Instagram live, Tyrese Gibson, 45, claimed to have "no regrets" about attending Diddy's "legendary" Hollywood parties. He implied that those who had something to hide were celebrities trying to disassociate themselves from the Bad Boy Records founder following his arrest.
"There is no such thing allegedly as a Tyrese-Diddy tape. That is a bunch of Donald Trump n-word in my comments, trying to discourage me from speaking up and speaking out," Gibson claimed.
Although he vehemently denied the accusations, he had no qualms about acknowledging that, like much of Hollywood and the music business, he went to several of Diddy's star-studded gatherings.
He added, "I wanna tell y’all that I’ve been to some of the most legendary parties, I got no regrets. If you’re from LA and you’ve been to these parties, you would know that Diddy always had the most legendary parties that were always star-studded."
"The biggest and most legendary stars — White, Black, Latino, Asian, billionaires, fashion, you name it. I got plenty of photos, proudly, like every other celebrity and star that went to his party," the 'Fast and Furious' star continued.
Gibson went on to imply that certain celebs could be concealing something about what "they did or what they on tape doing" because they weren't publicly addressing their participation at the parties.
"Anybody who's not on the internet talking about a Diddy party—you should be more concerned about them, allegedly, about what they did or what they on tape doing," he said.
The 'Love Transaction' singer openly supported Diddy after police raided the rapper's properties in Miami and Los Angeles in March as part of an alleged trafficking investigation.
"I’m praying for Diddy his kids, his family, his mother, and all of the alleged victims that’s in the middle of trying to simply have their voices to be heard," Gibson said in an Instagram post that has since been removed.
He added in part, "God bless you Diddy if you ever need to call me and just need a listening here I’m right here bro," according to Complex.
Tyrese Gibson attacks Donald Trump in Kamala Harris endorsement post
According to Tyrese Gibson, the allegations about him were disseminated by Donald Trump's supporters who were disgruntled at his support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential contest.
Gibson expressed his support for Harris in several posts that were uploaded on his social media accounts. Trump received a harsh critique on the actor's Instagram page. Gibson is famous for sharing his opinions on social media without holding back.
Gibson posted a video of Trump's remarks against Harris supporter Liz Cheney, a former Republican. Accusing her of being a "radical war hawk," the former president stated, "Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her. Let's see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face."
Gibson was enraged by Trump's remarks and wrote, "Unhinged and not fit to be president. F–k that I refuse to explain this diabolical narcissistic sociopath to my two daughters for the next four years," per The Blast.
"The current damage that he [has] created and the soon-to-be project 2025 (look it up on YouTube ) and all the residual damage to come has nothing and has no place in our America," he added.
In a last shot at Trump, Gibson concluded his tirade by declaring, "As soon as this campaign is over, mark my words, your favorite racist will be arrested for all of his fraud and all of his crimes."
Despite their differences, the TV celebrity urged Americans to come together. "Every man, every child, every white, every black human being and every other race and nationality and religious background in between, we all deserve love, respect, peace, unity magic," he said.
