In Suni Lee's video — which also stars Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, and Jade Carey — the team was seen holding their gold medals while using Kanye West's voiceover as the background sound.

The TikTok video starts with Biles and Chiles mouthing West's line, "Everybody wants to know what I would do if I didn't win."

The video cuts to the whole women's gymnastics team, including Biles and Rivera, clutching their medals, as West's voiceover says, "I guess we'll never know."

The voiceover was prompted by West's acceptance speech at the 2005 Grammy Awards, where he took home the Best Rap Album award, per Montogomery Advertiser.

Amid the excitement, Lee and Biles were shown on NBC's broadcast discussing the TikTok videos they would be making with their new hardware. They excitedly clapped after calling out which one they wanted to perform.

Biles, 27, declared, "I want to do the chomping one." Lee replied, "OK, I want to do the one that says, 'Imagine if we didn't win.'"

Biles, who recently made history as the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, posted a video of herself, Lee, Chiles, and Rivera making funny sounds while they bit on their medals.

She used the American flag and the red and blue love emojis as a description for the video, writing "TASTE GOLDEN," per Today.

Team USA's victory was their first gold in the main team competition since 2016. For the Americans, it was their third gold medal in Team Gymnastics at the Olympics; their other victory came in 2012.

The squad's performance was a welcome comeback for the veteran-heavy group, which was placed second in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Team USA achieved a final score of 171.296 at the end of the competition day during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Brazil finished third, and Italy won silver.

Suni Lee's gymnastics career

Sunisa Lee, famously known as Suni Lee, began her gymnastics career at home in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in the United States.

As per her Olympics biography, Lee enrolled in the Midwest Gymnastics Centre in Little Canada, Minnesota, at the age of 6 to start her official gymnastics learning.

The young American won her only ever competition at a state meet, an all-around competition, at the age of 7. She became eligible for the elite program when she turned 11 allowing her to compete internationally to represent the United States.

Lee currently has four medals from the Olympics after taking home gold in the all-around and silver in the team competition during the Tokyo Olympics.

The Saint Paul, Minnesota, native competed at Auburn for two seasons before quitting the program, and she also took home a bronze in the uneven bars in Tokyo.

Lee is not finished with Paris. After barely defeating Jordan Chiles for the country's runner-up position, the former Auburn star will attempt to win the individual all-around title again.

Lee's path toward another gold will go through Biles, who won in 2016. Having won eight medals in her career, Biles set a record for the US gymnastics. It will be the first time ever that two past winners of the all-around event square off in Thursday's (August 1) final.
