LONDON, UK: The shocking announcement of Kate Middleton on March 22 has resulted in people asking for forgiveness after spreading lies and conspiracy theories about her.

The Princess of Wales’ last public appearance was in December 2023. In January, an official statement mentioned that she underwent a planned abdominal operation and would be taking rest at home.

However, instead of calming Kate’s fans and followers, the secretive nature of the statement gave birth to uncontrollable rumors, which were finally shut down when Kate disclosed that she’s suffering from cancer.

In a video statement, the future Queen said, “Tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

The fifth user said, “I feel bad for having made a joke about all the speculation about Kate Middleton. I hope the chemotherapy is successful and she will be around to watch her children grow up.”

“Reactions to the Kate Middleton news seem to be pretty evenly split between ‘we now I feel bad for making all those jokes’ and ‘actually it’s the Royal family’s fault that we all ghoulishly hounded a woman seeking privacy just like we did the last Princess of Wales,’” the sixth one remarked.

A person shared, “I feel bad for the kate Middleton jokes I made."

The second one added, “Everyone on Twitter deleting their conspiracy Kate Middleton tweets."
