LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tori Spelling, the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum, and her family are navigating challenging times.

This comes days after she filed for divorce from Dean McDermott, her husband of 18 years, on March 29.

Tori Spelling says her kids and estranged husband Dean Mcdermott are doing well

The 50-year-old shared how their children, Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, seven, have responded to the divorce.

“The kids are doing well and Dean is doing well,” The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star told E! News on the red carpet of the iHeartRadio Awards on April 1.

“We’re all hanging in," said Spelling. The couple separated in June 2023.

Tori Spelling believes divorce won't disrupt family dynamics

Spelling emphasized that her divorce won’t completely disrupt their family dynamic.

“We’ll always be a family,” she added. “Whether there’s a title on it or not so, it’s just time to move forward.”

On March 29, Spelling officially filed for divorce from her estranged husband, citing “irreconcilable differences” as a reason of the split.

The official date of separation from her husband McDermott was mentioned as June 17, 2023.

Spelling had requested the court to award her spousal support and terminate McDermott's ability to receive the same support.

She also sought sole physical custody of their five minor children and joint legal custody with McDermott's following visitation rights, according to People.

Tori Spelling admits all the years with Dean McDermott were not happy

Although the 'Scary Movie' actress was with McDermott for 18 years, she acknowledged that not all those years were joyful.

“We always say, ‘Hey, it made it 18 years,'” she reflected on the April 1 episode of the 'misSPELLING' podcast.

“It shouldn’t have made it 18 years. I think he would say the same thing if he and I had a real heart-to-heart. It would have been over a lot sooner," she said.

While McDermott, 57, hasn’t spoken out about Spelling's divorce filing, he announced their separation back in June 2023.

“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.

“We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this.”
