Whoopi Goldberg left floored after Ana Navarro says she's 'as skinny' as she was in the '80s

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View's Hot Topics segment took a backseat on Tuesday, April 8, as the ladies turned their attention to something far more personal, Whoopi Goldberg's achievements and her incredible body transformation.
The EGOT winner was recently featured in New York Magazine’s "Legends of Broadway" series, alongside theater icons like Barbra Streisand, Patti LuPone, and Liza Minnelli, as per Decider.
Ana Navarro tells Whoopi Goldberg she's 'as skinny she was back then'
When a photo of Whoopi Goldberg’s New York Magazine cover appeared on screen, Sunny Hostin instantly recognized it was a nod to her one-woman Broadway show that captivated audiences from 1984 tp 1985.
"That’s from my one-woman show," Goldberg confirmed, referencing the performance that earned her a Grammy and launched her into the spotlight.

Ana Navarro picked up on something else in Goldberg’s latest portrait. "This is a recent picture. This picture is now. Girl, you’re back to being as skinny as you were back then," Navarro said with a smile, leaving Goldberg momentarily speechless.
"I — Yeah," the 'Ghost' actress replied with a hint of surprise. Navarro doubled down, "You’re looking so good." Goldberg, clearly feeling the love, responded, "I am."

Whoopi Goldberg credits Mounjaro for incredible weight loss
Whoopi Goldberg has been candid about her transformation journey, previously revealing that she was close to 300 pounds before turning to the weight-loss drug Mounjaro.
In a March 2024 episode of 'The View', she praised the drug as a "wonderful shot" that changed her life. "It was really good for me," she said.

During her appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' in May 2024, Goldberg shared that the medication helped her shed what she described as almost the weight of "two people."
"My weight has come and gone and up and down, but it’s never been an issue for me because I don’t listen to what other people say about me," she expressed.

In August 2024, she pushed back against any shame surrounding weight-loss medication. "Yes, I took Mounjaro," she said on-air. "I did it, you know? I say it all the time. Because you can’t go from close to 300 pounds without somebody saying, ‘OK, what happened?’ ‘Cause you know I didn’t go to the gym!"
