LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Andy Cohen has finally apologized for the remarks he made about Kate Middleton's absence due to abdominal surgery before the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis.

During his show ’Radio Andy's Monday broadcast on SiriusXM, the host said, “I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right.”

Cohen added that it would have been best to keep his “mouth shut.”

“We are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles.” His statement came almost a week after the British royal revealed her cancer diagnosis to the world.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous. The surgery was successful,” she said in a video message.

The Princess of Wales continued, “However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

She explained that her children were the reason she delayed sharing her cancer diagnosis with the public, per Daily Mail.

The proud mother of Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 wanted them to “understand and process” it at the right time.

What did Andy Cohen say about the Princess of Wales?

On March 18, Andy Cohen shared a clip of Middleton and Prince William walking around a local farm store

At that time the internet trolled the video, claiming that the woman in the footage was someone other than Kate. The host further speculated by tweeting “That ain’t Kate…” on X.

That was not all. A few days later on his podcast, ‘Daddy Diaries', Cohen said, “Those weren’t photos from the farm stand. … The captions on those photos said Kate pictured last August, blah, blah. It’s a lie.”

He also fueled unfounded reports that William may have had an affair with Lady Rose Hanbury.

“It all seems to come back to this lady Rose who he’s had an affair — who he allegedly had an affair with,” Cohen said.

“Don’t forget he broke it off with [Middleton] after they dated for years and sowed his wild oats for a time and then went back to her,” he said.

However, Hanbury’s lawyers responded to the rumors calling them "completely false."
