'You are so loved': Emma Roberts, David Arquette, Ashley Tisdale and more honor Hayden Panettiere
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hayden Panettiere's untimely death at 36 has left friends, family, and the entertainment world shocked and devastated.
Her death was announced on Sunday, August 16, through a statement by her father, Alan "Skip" Panettiere, who called the actress “an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her -- and to the millions who watched her onscreen.”
He also asked for privacy amid the difficult time.

Connie Britton, who starred in ‘Nashville’ alongside Panettiere, was among the celebrities who took to her Instagram account to mourn her death.
Posting photos with the late former child star, Britton wrote, “This was Hayden. Bursting with brilliance, shining so bright. I have no words for this sad song. Just heartbreak. I love you girl. Sleep easy now.”
Brit Shaw, who was seen as Olivia Wentworth in ‘Nashville’, also shared a few photos with Panettiere, while saying, “This is a shock. Man, she was great. 🤍 She had this way of making you feel at home. From the moment I walked onto the Nashville set, she made me feel like I belonged.”
“We had so many good times together, and I’ll always be grateful for them. Girl, you taught me about probiotics before probiotics were even cool 💔 RIP ❤️🩹,” she added.
'Heroes' co-star Emma Roberts says she will miss Hayden Panettiere
The ‘Heroes’ actress was good friends with Emma Roberts, who expressed her grief by posting an older photo of the two of them and a more recent photo, as she wrote, “Rest in peace my sweet friend. you are so loved and you will be forever missed ❤️.”
Panettiere’s ‘Scream’ co-star David Arquette wrote in his tribute, “Sending my love to Hayden and her family. She was a brave and brilliant soul.”
Ashley Tisdale remembers Hayden Panettiere as 'one of the most talented actors'
Ashley Tisdale, who also started her career as a child star, grieved Panettiere’s death as she wrote in her Instagram Story, “Today is heavy. We lost one of the most talented and beautiful actors. Hayden was the girl growing up that you aspired to be.”
“She was talented, smart, and later in life shared her flaws and struggles to make people feel less alone. She shared so much of herself for so long. Rest in peace,” the former Disney Channel star added.
Beth Chamberlin, who was seen as Panettiere’s reel mother in the soap opera ‘Guiding Light’, took to her Instagram page to share her heartfelt tribute.
She wrote, “Hayden played my daughter for 3 years. She was the most brilliant child actor I’ve ever seen. The things she could do, the way she could remember 20+ pages of dialogue, day after day.”
“Even on days where the director would come out between dress and tape and make huge cuts to the scenes, Hayden never once forgot a line or missed her blocking. The adults would, but not Hayden. I felt blessed to work with her. And always perfect in her playing of the scene,” Chamberlin added.

Meanwhile, former child actress Bailee Madison shared, “Hard to find the words for news like this…I first met Hayden when I was a very little girl, around 6. I’ll never forget the warmth and kindness she showed me from that very first meeting on.”
The 26-year-old further recalled how the late actress “brought an immense amount of light to anyone who knew her,” as she added, “I’m thinking so deeply of her family, friends, and of course her beautiful daughter. What a beautiful spirit and soul.”

Panettiere’s close friend Bethany Joy Lenz shared her devastation in a lengthy post that read, "I’m crushed. I knew the wild little blonde. Was she nine? Ten? I was eighteen. She ran through the Screen Gem studio hallways at 222 E44th St. laughing and playing games in between Guiding Light blocking and camera rehearsals. Long, unruly curls trailing behind her. She knew her lines and everyone else’s. Her intelligence was astonishing."
Further expressing her shock over the tragedy, the 'One Tree Hill' actress added, "I don't understand how this is real. Everything seemed to be turning around. She was coming BACK to life, wasn’t she? It’s too young and there’s still so much more life," before she added, "I am praying for you to know the peace of God now and always."
