Zendaya fans spot her first-ever tattoo seemingly dedicated to Tom Holland amid engagement news

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Zendaya made waves at the 2025 Golden Globes, showing off what fans believe is a tribute to her boyfriend, Tom Holland.

The actress, 28, stunned on the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton gown, revealing a tiny 'T' tattoo on her ribcage.

Zendaya also sported a large diamond ring on her finger, sparking rumors of an engagement with the 28-year-old 'Spider-Man' actor, which TMZ later confirmed as true.

Zendaya's tattoo caught the attention of fans, who quickly linked it to Tom Holland.

The 'Challengers' star, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor, also flaunted a sparkling diamond ring.

The ring is believed to be a Jessica McCormack 5.02ct East-West Cushion Diamond Button-Back ring, People noted.

Zendaya previously expressed admiration for tattoos but admitted to not having any in a 2019 interview with Allure Magazine. "I love tattoos. But I don’t want any," she said in an interview with Allure.

TMZ reported Holland proposed to Zendaya between Christmas and New Year at one of the family homes. 

The publication noted engagement wasn't a huge show but romantic and intimate.

One source described it as a sweet moment between Holland and Zendaya. But there are no plans for a wedding yet.

Zendaya and Tom Holland were first rumored to be dating in 2016 but confirmed their relationship five years later. The couple co-starred in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' in 2017 and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' in 2021.

Reports suggest the couple is set to star in Christopher Nolan's upcoming adaptation of Homer’s 'The Odyssey', expected to be released in 2026.

Holland commented on the project during the 'Dish' podcast, saying, "To be perfectly honest with you, I don't know anything about it. I'm super excited. Everything is very, very hush-hush."

He added, "I met with him, it was awesome. He kind of loosely pitched what it was and I'm sure when he's ready he'll announce what it is."

X (formerly Twitter) users speculated about matching tattoos, with one saying, "If zendaya has a t tattoo we can only assume tom has a z tattoo somewhere."

"Streets saying zendaya is engaged! My tomdaya heart!!" wrote another.

"Not saying this is an engagement ring but Zendaya and Tom getting engaged without ‘announcing’ it seems very on brand," said someone else.

One more penned, "Not surprised at all about the engagement, surprised that she showed up wearing a ring because they haven’t announced it. I had a feeling that they’ve been engaged for a while now lol."
