Elon Musk confirms Kanye West's X account deactivation
Soon Elon Musk confirmed that Kanye West’s account had been classified as NSFW (not safe for work), effectively restricting its visibility.
The tech mogul addressed West’s comments three days after they first appeared.
"Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW. You should not be seeing that anymore," Musk wrote in response to the controversy.

50 Cent's post sparks debate online
50 Cent's post quickly went viral, with fans and critics alike flooding the comments.
Some users questioned why Kanye West was banned while others, including X owner Elon Musk, allegedly engaged in similar behaviors without consequences.
One commenter on Instagram, artist Aisha Hall, claimed Musk “did a Nazi salute and nobody said nothing.”
Others criticized West, saying he had changed drastically over the years, with one user remarking, “I miss the old Kanye.”

Another referenced his infamous 2011 mishap, stating, “He hasn’t been right since he walked head first into that wrong way sign.”
Kanye West's X deactivation
Kanye West’s deactivation followed his February 9 announcement that he was “logging out” of the platform, comparing his time on X to an Ayahuasca trip and thanking Elon Musk for the opportunity to “vent.”
Before his removal, West took jabs at Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, accusing Lamar of being “used by white people and Jews.”
He also suggested Swift shouldn’t be allowed to sing along to the song 'Not Like Us' if it’s “about the culture.”

West also made a bizarre Super Bowl commercial for his fashion brand, Yeezy.
The advertisement, filmed on his iPhone, appeared to be shot in a dental office and featured the rapper claiming he had spent his entire advertising budget on a new set of teeth.
"I spent all the money for the commercial on these new teeth," West said in the clip while smiling and wearing sunglasses.
West’s spokesperson, Milo Yiannopoulos, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that West had voluntarily deactivated his X account.
"Ye has deactivated his X account for the time being," he stated on Sunday evening, February 9.
Yiannopoulos also shared with Daily Mail that West was not banned but chose to leave the platform himself.
The controversy has reignited discussions about platform moderation and whether X applies its policies consistently across users.
