LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Adele, known for her unfiltered opinions and signature wit at her weekend shows, recently gained traction across social media as she clapped back at a heckler who disparaged Pride Month during her recent concert. 

Upon hearing the comments, the 'Hello' singer schooled the individual and firmly told them to "shut up."

During her Las Vegas residency show on Saturday, June 1, which marked the start of Pride Month, Adele took a moment to call out a heckler who made a disparaging comment about the LGBTQ+ community.

Though the individual's remark wasn't caught on camera, in a video, Adele, can be heard saying, "Did you come to my f*****g show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f*****g stupid?"



 

The singer's retort was met with cheers from the crowd at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, as per USA Today

Adele further told the heckler, "Don’t be so f*****g ridiculous. If you’ve got nothing nice to say, shut up. All right?"

Internet dubs Adele a 'legend' as she claps back at a heckler who shouted 'Pride sucks'

The clip of Adele reprimanding the heckler quickly went viral, garnering widespread reactions from netizens.

One wrote, "I love Adele for this! Why do people love to say cruel things like this? It’s so uncalled for and disgusting," and another wrote, "She is great. The perfect response."

A person pointed out, "More people should take her advice," while someone else added, "Adeleeee legendddd."

Adele raved about Sabrina Carpenter's hit track 'Espresso' after resuming Las Vegas residency

In May, after a much-needed break from performing to rest her voice, Adele praised Sabrina Carpenter’s hit track 'Espresso' in between songs during one of her shows. 

The singer mentioned how adjusting back to Las Vegas' time zone after her break had affected her body, telling the audience, "I nearly pissed myself because my whole body clock was out of sync."

She continued, "So being on stage at 11.30, I was desperate for a pee. But I'm always, you know, [going] back to the hotel, in the hotel, whatever, by, sort of like, 11.10 at the latest. And then I have to warm my voice down, then I have a steam shower and things like that."

Referring to Carpenter’s chart-topping track, Adele stated, "As I got into bed last night — 'cause that's a very late night for me, normally I'm in bed by 9 pm — I found myself singing, 'I'm working late, 'cause I'm a singer.' That Sabrina Carpenter song! 'I can't relate to desperation.' That song is my jam," as per PEOPLE Magazine.
