Sabrina Carpenter slammed for 'backstabbing' Taylor Swift as she models for Kim Kardashian's SKIMS after Eras Tour stint
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It appears Taylor Swift’s pal Sabrina Carpenter has no ‘Bad Blood’ with Kim Kardashian.
After opening several shows of Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour concerts, the ‘Feather’ songstress has shocked many fans by announcing her collaboration with the ‘Lover’ singer’s long-time rival.
On Monday, April 1, the 24-year-old singer-actress stunned her fans as she dropped the first look of SKIMS’ Spring Intimates series.

Sabrina Carpenter partners up with Kim Kardashian
Carpenter, who is the latest star to join the ever-growing list of SKIMS’ celebrity models, announced the collaboration through a press release on Monday, per OK! Magazine. Earlier, Swift’s friend Lana Del Rey too appeared on SKIMS' Valentine's Day campaign.
Carpenter shared in the press release, "SKIMS has so many beautiful underwear styles that I was so excited to wear. I love both collections, especially the delicacy of the Stretch Lace and the second-skin feel of Fits Everybody.”

She continued to gush about the lacey delicates, saying, “Every piece I wore was super flattering and so comfortable, which of course is always a given with SKIMS!"
The Disney veteran added, "I loved the femininity of the whole creative. I feel very excited SKIMS chose me to be the face of this campaign as I’ve always been a fan of the brand."
‘The Kardashians’ star too returned the praises for Carpenter as Kim said in the press release, "Sabrina is not only a very talented musician, but she also has a fashion sense and an 'it' factor that really resonates with the next generation.”
The mother of four added, "With her upcoming Coachella debut, there couldn’t be a better time to have her star in a SKIMS campaign. Her talent and playful style brings a new energy to these collections, and the campaign is so fun!"
Carpenter recently ended her long run as the opener of Swift’s Eras Tour act for her shows in South America, Australia and Singapore.
However, Carpenter’s move to collaborate with Kardashian did not sit well with a section of fans who quickly pointed out the decade-old feud between the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer and the businesswoman.

Carpenter slammed for surprising collab with Swift's 'enemy'
Following the announcement, netizens flocked to Carpenter's Instagram to slam her for working with Kim despite being a friend of the 'Lover' singer.
One of them said, "Oh honey you’re gorgeous but not this brand…"
Another netizen slammed the songstress by saying, "Lingerie and photoshoot not on point + hate the fact that u waited your time at eras tour to end to partner with Kim??? I'm sure taylor doesn't care but I care lol."
Someone else said, "It makes me question your friendship with Taylor."
"Goes on your with Taylor swift then collabs with her enemy Kim Kardashian wow," chimed in someone else.
Another fan bemoaned, "Why skims? I thought you and Tay were friends 😪."
A social media user castigated her, saying, "Taylor gave her more shows and gave you chance to share a spotlight with her only to be a model of a person who almost ruined her career. Don't dare wear any of that at eras tour."
"Why did you stab Taylor in the back like that? You don't model for Kim Kardashian's clothing line knowing her and Taylor hate each other," chimed in another.
However, a few even defended Carpenter by referring to Lana Del Rey's collaboration with SKIMS, saying, "The world doesn’t revolve around taylor , lana also worked with skims so why is it an issue if sabrina does."

Incidentally, Carpenter’s SKIMS collaboration comes just a week after the ‘Nonsense’ singer announced she is wrapping up her stint with Eras Tour.
In a long post shared on Instagram, the songstress wrote, “That’s a wrap for us on the eras tour :’) sitting at home reflecting on what a whirlwind this was and how very honored i feel to have been part of it.”

Sharing a photo carousel including one with Swift, she wrote, “I want to thank every crowd for being so welcoming and generous to us and making some of the most impressive friendship bracelets I’ve ever received🤍 also a huge thank you to the incredible crew for being so hardworking and talented.”
She dedicated one whole paragraph to express her appreciation for the 14-times Grammy-winning singer, saying, “The most thank you’s I’ve ever thank you’d to Taylor. I feel so lucky to witness the magic that is you and this tour. there is truly no one like you and there never will be! i love you with all my heart and i will cherish this taybrina era (and all the eras) till the end of time 💞💞💞.”
