Al Pacino clarifies his relationship status with Noor Alfallah after her night out with Bill Maher
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Al Pacino, 84, is clarifying his equation with Noor Alfallah, 30, after the mother of his youngest child was spotted hanging out with television host Bill Maher.
Recently, a representative for Pacino shared in a statement to People on Monday, October 7, that ‘The Godfather’ star and Alfallah are “just friends” and “co-parents” to their one-year-old son Roman, whom they welcomed in June 2023.
Moreover, in an October 3 interview with the same outlet -- ahead of the release of his memoir ‘Sonny Boy’ -- Pacino said that while he doesn’t have a relationship with Alfallah, he has “friendship.”
Al Pacino is ‘just friends’ with Noor Alfallah
Over the weekend, the 30-year-old American-Kuwaiti producer was spotted with Bill Maher, 68. Following their outing, a representative for Pacino shared with the outlet, “Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.”
Previously, during an interview with People, when the ‘Scarface’ actor was asked whether he was in a relationship, Pacino replied, “No. I have friendship [sic].”
The comments from Pacino’s representatives came after Alfallah was spotted leaving Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles with the comedian a little after Sunday night. While Maher was driving the luxury sedan, the ‘American Sweatshop’ producer sat in the passenger seat, reported Page Six.
This is, however, not the first time that the mother of one and Maher have been spotted together. In March, the duo, accompanied by Alfallah's sister, were seen together at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.
The paparazzi photos seemed to cause a stir online as the ‘Irishman’ star and Alfallah have fueled dating rumors at least since 2022. Last year, they welcomed their son Roman as well.
Nevertheless, the parents of one were seen hanging out together last week when they were spotted at Chez Mia restaurant in West Hollywood, on Friday, October 4.
Previously, Pacino helped Alfallah blow out candles on her 30th birthday last year.
Al Pacino calls marriage an ‘entrance to the pain train’
Pacino, who has previously had several high-profile relationships with actresses Diane Keaton, Beverly D’Angelo, and Kathleen Quinlan, opened up about his idea of marriage in his memoir ‘Sonny Boy’ which is to be released on October 15.
Describing marriage as “an entrance to the pain train,” Pacino writes in his book, “Everything's a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing. Are you going to go or not? No, I'll stay here. I'll stay here at the station, I'm not getting on.”
He shares his opinion on marriage, writing, it “can suit you, by all means.” However, he noted, “I just didn't feel it ever suited me for some reason.”
Clarifying his present stance on marriage, Pacino said, “I loved living together, and then... It depends on who you are getting along with. If you live together with someone, there's got to be... You have to have this communion. If you don't, it's almost an invasion. So I like to know that if I find a human that I can connect with.”
“I have friends all over the place. I must say I'm very lucky with that,” noted the ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ star.
