Alec Baldwin mocked as David Duchovny calls him 'biblical figure' for having baby and grandbaby in a year
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec Baldwin has been criticized by several people on social media after he accepted David Duchovny’s new title for him.
The 66-year-old actor appeared on Duchovny's podcast ‘Fail Better’ on Monday, December 16, where he was asked about his experience as a father of eight, according to People.
Baldwin shares daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, two, María Lucía Victoria, three, Carmen Gabriela, 11, and sons Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, four, Romeo Alejandro David, six , Leonardo Angel Charles, seven, and Rafael Thomas, nine, with his second wife Hilaria.
He is also the father of 29-year-old daughter Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
Alec Baldwin became father and grandfather just a few months apart
But during the podcast, the ‘Rust’ star shared that though he has eight children, currently he’s dealing with “seven at home,” since his “my oldest daughter, Ireland, lives in the Pacific Northwest.”
“She just had a baby, so I am a father and a grandfather in the same year,” he added.
Ireland became a mother of a daughter named Holland last year. She welcomed the child with her boyfriend RAC.
In September 2022, Baldwin had his eighth child, his daughter Illaria.
At the time, the parents said, as per People, "How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world. Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with.”

David Duchovny told Alec Baldwin, “You're like a biblical figure.”
The ‘Pixie’ actor ecstatically replied, “I'm gonna take that from you — I'm gonna say Duchovny said it best.”
“I'm a biblical character. I'm gonna quote you, man. I love that. That's perfect,” he added.
Netizens call Alec Baldwin ‘a child himself’
However, people online did not seem happy with the whole conversation as one Facebook user commented, “I don't think anyone in the Bible has ever shot somebody.”
A second user remarked, “And still a child himself!”
A third one said, “Don't who either of them are other than both a ridiculous clowns.”
