Alec Baldwin's neighbor calls him 'uneducated man' as she slams actor for his rant against Americans
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Alec Baldwin was called out by his neighbor in New York after the actor labeled Americans as uninformed at the Torino Film Festival in northern Italy, the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday, November 27.
The 66-year-old actor won this year's Lifetime Achievement Award at the event where he stated during a press conference on Monday, November 25, "Americans are very uninformed about reality - what's really going on. Americans have an appetite for a little bit of information."
Alec Baldwin's neighbor slams his take
While interviewing New Yorkers to share their opinion of Alec Baldwin's take, the Daily Mail came across 20-year-old Madeline Hill, his neighbor, who stated that the actor had no place to comment on everyday Americans because of his own attitude problem.

"I actually live across the street from Alec Baldwin. He's been rude to me so many times. He is an uneducated man himself. He's not really seeing the heart of America," she told the reporter.
Baldwin has lost his temper multiple times in public over the last decade, including abusing paparazzi to punching a New Yorker who stole his parking spot in 2018.
Reacting to Baldwin's film festival comments, another local said, "Why didn't he get charged for (involuntary) manslaughter? I think that he's definitely misinformed. He needs to come back to New York to get informed."
He was referencing the accident that took place on the set of the movie 'Rust' in 2021 where Baldwin fatally shot a cinematographer on set by accident and walked away without getting sentenced.
Sharon Stone shares similar views like Alec Baldwin
He was not alone in his take as actress Sharon Stone shared a similar view at the festival saying, "My country is in the midst of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naïve and ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence."
She apparently compared president-elect Donald Trump to Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and claimed that the only reason he was elected was Americans lacked knowledge and didn't travel enough.
"We haven't seen this before in our country," she noted, adding "So Americans who don't travel, who 80 percent don't have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivete."
Some New Yorkers agree with Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone
While interacting with the locals in NYC, the reporter came across many who sided with the stars, at least partially.
"Most of the population are - I hate to say it - dimwits," stated a man, adding after a glance over his shoulder, "'I would say most people here are very uneducated."
"I think I can definitely agree with that," noted Palo, 19. "In the sense that there's definitely a cohort of Americans who definitely have a bit of ignorance about them and they don't tend to focus on what the reality of the situation is like because they don't want to deviate from this idea they have in their head," he added.
However, others felt that celebrities were too out of touch with common people to make harsh comments.
"Celebrities are the ones that are unaware of reality. Celebrities, of all people, have it easiest - they make easy money, they have easy jobs," said 18-year-old Pamela. Nahatara, 19, slammed Baldwin saying, "I'm sorry, the fact that you have the audacity to say something like that about the people - I'm assuming - aren't even in the same class as you. It's just a very strong opinion to have over a society that I feel like you're already out of touch with."
