Amy Robach and TJ Holmes open up on how they miss working together, say their careers were unfairly taken
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former 'Good Morning America' hosts Amy Robach and TJ Holmes opened up about career pressures and their lost opportunities.
The duo spoke on the latest episode of their podcast 'Amy & TJ' on how they missed working together and addressed the emotional toll felt due to the "pressure" of the careers that were "taken from them" when their workplace romance became public.

In the podcast episode on Tuesday, January 23, Robach said, "We've always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing … that pressure is a lot."
The 50-year-old further clarified that she felt under pressure following the impact on their television careers.
"I don't feel the pressure from the public to stay with you. But I feel the pressure of our careers that I believe were unfairly taken from us," Robach said tearfully.
She revealed to Holmes that she has "chosen" to love him despite the challenges and compromises they face.
"I know that I know you well enough and I've spent enough time with you and I knew how I felt," the ex-'GMA' host continued to Holmes.
"And love sometimes is a choice, when it's hard, it's not just a feeling. Lust is a feeling, but love is a choice I believe, and I have chosen to love you," she added.

Amy Robach says she 'would be devastated' if her relationship with TJ Holmes goes wrong
Robach expressed her desire to be reunited with Holmes on screen as she emphasized the pressure she feels is more about doing what she loves and doing it alongside him.
“I really want to be able to do what I love, and I want to be able to do it with you and that's more the pressure I feel," said the former news anchor.
Reflecting on how she would feel if anything were ever to go wrong with her relationship with Holmes, Robach said, "I would be devastated just personally because I want to be with you and I chose you."
The podcast which was launched on December 5, 2023, marked exactly one year since their workplace relationship became controversial as ABC News President Kim Goodwin decided to put them on hiatus.

On the podcast's launch episode, the pair discussed ABC's decision as Robach stated, "December 5th last year, exactly one year ago today, was the day we were told not to come into work."
"We never got a follow-up call to say come back," Holmes said humorously, while Robach added, "That’s true. It was the opposite."
