LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Andrea Bocelli has expressed admiration for Johnny Depp ahead of their upcoming joint concert appearance. 

Depp will be joining the Italian singer as a special guest at Bocelli's 'Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration' concerts on July 15, 17, and 19, as announced by Bocelli on Instagram on July 3.

Andrea Bocelli took to his Instagram page and confirmed Depp's participation as a special guest in his concert, describing him as, "A disarmingly charming actor who has brought countless iconic characters to life on the big screen, this eclectic artist’s musical talents are equally intense: a bona fide rockstar loved and applauded everywhere." 

Bocelli reminisced, "I fondly recall playing and singing with Johnny Depp when he visited my home in Tuscany." 

Expressing excitement about the unexpected collaboration, Bocelli added, "We’re happy to announce that this unexpected pairing will perform once more — and this time in public, as his fans will be thrilled to hear."

Following Bocelli's announcement of Johnny Depp as a special guest for his 30th-anniversary celebration, numerous Instagram users expressed their joy through comments.

One user wrote, "This is positively amazing😍. I don’t have the words to express how much I want to be there to see you & Johnnys Depp🔥 Love to Both of you 🥰" Another user praised, "What an honor for both of these wonderful folks. ❤️"

Bocelli had previously announced his celebration of 30 years in the music industry with a series of three concerts in his hometown of Lajatico, Italy, as per People.

He also revealed that a lineup of stars including Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, Jon Batiste, Russell Crowe, Sofia Vergara, David Foster, Christian Nodal, Sofia Carson, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Zucchero, Giorgia, along with his children Matteo and Virginia, would join him for the event.

Classical musicians such as Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Lang Lang, Aida Garifullina, Bryn Terfel, and Nadine Sierra are also set to perform. Sam Wrench, the filmmaker behind 'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour', will direct the concert film capturing Bocelli's three-night celebration. 

The film is set to premiere alongside Bocelli's fall North American tour, commencing in Monterrey, Mexico, on September 30 and concluding on December 21 in Los Angeles.
