Angelina Jolie worried sister-in-law could 'spill secrets' in tell-all memoir

Romi Imbelli married actor and director James Haven, in an intimate ceremony, photos of which were shared online earlier this month. The couple reportedly got hitched on August 12, 2024.

Romi confirmed the nuptials and taking to her Instagram, wrote, "The details of our story are too personal and complicated to share now, but I am writing it all in my book."

A source close to Angelina Jolie told the outlet, "That’s already a bad sign, but saying she will reveal more in a tell-all is setting off alarms. Romi has been close to the family for more than 20 years, so there are a lot of dark secrets she could spill."

Notably, Jolie is known to be cagey about her personal life and hardly talks about her marriage, relationships, and personal troubles in interviews.

Moreover, Jolie and Haven are now estranged but they used to be close. The insider added that James was privy to "saw everything that was going on behind the scenes" during her divorce with Pitt. That is why, Jolie is "on edge" about what Haven might have told his wife.

The insider further revealed, "Angie cut off Jon after he spoke to the press about her and her children, which proves how seriously she protects her privacy, even with family. Of course, she wants her brother to be happy — but this could turn into her worst nightmare."

Meanwhile, Haven has appeared with his sister in films like 'Gia' and 'Original Sin'. He retired from acting in 2013 and also directed a short film titled 'Court of Conscience' in 2015.
