LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tom Cruise is in no mood to reconcile with his old friend Jamie Foxx, who opened up about having a near-death experience in 2023 due to a medical complication. The actor had a brain bleed that led to a stroke.
The 'Collateral' co-stars' fallout was mainly due to Foxx blindsiding Cruise about his romance with the 'Mission: Impossible' actor's ex-wife Katie Holmes, reported Radar Online.

Insiders claimed that Tom Cruise is firm in his decision to not reconcile with his old friend Jamie Foxx as he still hasn’t forgiven him for having a relationship with his ex-wife.
Foxx has been making headlines lately for his breakup with his girlfriend of nearly three years, Alyce Huckstepp. However, his dynamic with Cruise and Holmes is what constantly keeps affecting his personal life.
Notably, Cruise and Holmes' romance garnered limelight in 2005, months after which they got married and were together for nearly six years.
However, the couple shocked their fans in June 2012 when they announced their separation. The pair have a daughter named Suri. Their divorce was settled in two weeks.
Interestingly, Homes began her relationship with Foxx a year after her divorce from Cruise was settled. In August 2019, however, they were confirmed to have gone their separate ways after a six-year romance.
Insiders claim that Cruise saw their relationship as a betrayal of his friendship with Foxx, especially given the timing.
A source said, "Tom’s always been suspicious about the timing of Jamie and Katie’s relationship. He feels it’s stuck in his memory as a betrayal, and he’s not willing to let it go."
The insider further added that despite Jamie Foxx’s very public admission of going "hell and back" due to his health scare, Cruise wished him the best but "he’s not wishing to be friends again."
The source added, "Tom doesn't want to trash-talk Jamie, but he doesn't have a whole lot of respect for him either. He's got a long memory and he's not going to forgive someone who sold him down the river."
The insider also claimed that as for their current situation, Cruise is "glad" that his old pal is better. However, Foxx is "firmly off the Christmas cake list", referring to the Cruise's holiday tradition in which he sends a $126 coconut dessert to a pool of A-listers.

An insider claimed in December 2024 that Tom Cruise is ready to reveal more about his controversial marriage and divorce from actress Katie Holmes, which attracted significant public attention, as reported by Heat World.
An insider said, "Tom hasn’t done a serious sit-down interview in years but with all the projects he has to promote and the fact that he’ll be spending most of the next year in the US, he’s talking about a change of strategy."
