Anna Kendrick fuming at Blake Lively for negatively affecting their upcoming film 'Another Simple Favor'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Anna Kendrick is reportedly angry at Blake Lively for not addressing the impact of her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni on their latest project 'Another Simple Favor'.
Kendrick is reuniting with Lively for the sequel of their 2018 comedy thriller 'A Simple Favor', which is slated for a release on March 7 at the SXSW Film and TV Festival in Austin, Texas. It movie will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video beginning May 1.
Anna Kendrick is fuming over Blake Lively's failure to address the negative impact of her legal feud on 'Another Simple Favor'
Speaking to Daily Mail, a source close to Anna Kendrick shared that the actress has been left incensed over the ‘Gossip Girl’ alum’s reported lack of accountability regarding the negative impact ‘Another Simple Favor’ is getting because of her legal troubles.
"There is a gigantic pink elephant in the room that no one is acknowledging. The backlash to initial promo has been brutal. There are people protesting and refusing to see it," they shared.
The source further shared that Lively has done little to alleviate the issues.
"Blake has not addressed this. She has not called the cast to apologize. She has not done anything like that. She has stayed quiet and hidden away," they claimed, adding, "She owes Anna an apology. She owes them all an apology."
"Anna is just over all of it. If Anna was in this position, she would not be letting the film take the fall for her own personal issues," concluded the source, drawing a comparison between Lively’s alleged lack of action to what the 'Woman of the Hour' actress would have done had she been in her position.
Kendrick and Lively’s new film is feared to get overshadowed by the legal tussle 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' actress is currently in after she filed a civil lawsuit against Baldoni last year, accusing him of fostering a toxic work environment and launching a smear campaign against her.
The 'Jane the Virgin' actor retaliated and filed a $400 million counter-lawsuit against the mother of four and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively feuded over placement of names on poster
This is, however, not the only issue that left Anna Kendrick fuming over her co-star’s behavior.
Another source shared with the outlet that the two actresses previously butted heads regarding who would be the top-billed cast on the poster.
A tussle reportedly broke out between them regarding the placement of their names on the film’s poster. While Kendrick got the top billing in the first film, Lively reportedly wanted her name this time to be at the top.
The source, nevertheless, opined that the ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress doesn’t think so, and refused to "bow to Blake's demands."

"In the original film, Anna got top billing over Blake. She thought it was a no-brainer that the same would happen this time around. But Blake didn’t see it that way," the tipster dished.
"She fought, through her reps to get top billing over Anna, who refused to bow to Blake’s demands," they added.
The feud finally came to an end when a "deal was struck between the actresses" after weeks of negotiations.

"They agreed on staggered billing, which meant Anna’s name would read first and Blake’s would be above hers but on the right-hand side. In the business that’s considered equal billing," noted the source, before adding that neither party was "thrilled" with the result.
Nevertheless, they reportedly agreed because "they knew they needed to come to an agreement."
