NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Taylor Swift is gearing up for Super Bowl weekend, ready to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, February 9. But a familiar face won’t be by her side this time.

Blake Lively, a longtime close friend of Swift, will reportedly not be seen at the pop star’s Super Bowl suite this year.

According to sources, Blake Lively’s ongoing legal battle with her 'It Ends With Us' co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, has impacted her friendship with Taylor Swift, who wants no part in the escalating controversy.

“Blake is not attending the Super Bowl with her,” an insider told The Daily Mail. "Blake has not left the house since this started practically. Taylor wants nothing to do with this trial and court case," they added.

Last year, Lively was front and center in Swift’s VIP suite, celebrating alongside Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Miles and Keleigh Teller, and Kelce’s parents. This time around, Swift’s inner circle appears to be shifting as Lively remains embroiled in a high-profile dispute that has captivated Hollywood.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni starred together in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel 'It Ends With Us', but their professional relationship quickly turned sour.

Lively has accused Baldoni of harassment and orchestrating a PR smear campaign against her during post-production. Baldoni, in turn, has countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, alleging they attempted to ruin his career.

Baldoni’s legal team has floated the possibility of deposing Swift, claiming she was present at a meeting in Lively’s New York penthouse regarding a scene rewrite.

A source told The Mirror, “Baldoni’s lawyer will take no prisoners, and the thought of Taylor being subjected to that is utterly horrifying to Blake.”

In his countersuit, Baldoni alleges that Lively invoked her close ties to Reynolds and Swift as leverage, calling them “absolute titans” and referring to them as her “dragons".

A text from Lively to Baldoni, now a key piece of evidence, reportedly read, "If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really, we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”

With 155,000 fans, celebrities, and even President Donald Trump expected to descend on New Orleans for Super Bowl 59, Taylor Swift is keeping her focus on football not legal battles. While she’s been a fixture at Kelce’s games, bringing A-list friends along for the ride, this weekend marks a noticeable shift.

Lively, once a staple in Swift’s close-knit circle, is reportedly laying low as her court battle looms. And for Swift, who has spent years carefully navigating the media spotlight, is clearly steering far away from the storm brewing around her longtime friend.

Reports claiming Blake Lively has not been invited to Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl suite this years have fueled rumors of a falling out between the two longtime friends. However, X’s Community Notes have pushed back on this narrative, suggesting that Lively has reportedly withdrawn from public life altogether amid the ongoing legal drama drama. Social media users flocked various platforms to express their views on the unfolding drama.

One user sided with Lively, writing, "Taylor Swift does not have a guest list because she's not a player. She's, indeed, a guest herself."

Another took a harsher stance, saying, "Blake probably doesn't want to be in the spotlight right now with people harassing her and making fun of her."

One person stated, "We know it, we are women & her bf Taylor understand Blake need and better to enjoy her life lowkey right now, so leave her alone, dumb a**."

"BL doesn't want to be under public eyes when she has other important things to worry about. Shocking. Also Taylor wld definitely understand that," a user said, while another user wrote, "Yall are doing Blake Lively as dirty as you have Britney Spears throughout her conservatorship."

Another commented, "Blake is learning some hard lessons at the moment. Let's hope, for her children's sake, that her marriage survives the s**t storm she's created..."
