Arnold Schwarzenegger slammed as he defends RFK Jr's conspiracy theories, says he’ll ‘always support him’

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Arnold Schwarzenegger recently voiced his support for Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr (RFK Jr) and described him as a close friend and trusted ally, despite occasionally differing on certain views.

During a candid conversation, the former California governor spoke about RFK Jr, recalling their work together during his time in office and praising Kennedy’s dedication to public service even amid his often controversial positions.

Arnold Schwarzenegger joined Andy Cohen for an exclusive Town Hall at SiriusXM’s New York City studio, where he opened up about a range of personal and professional experiences.

During the conversation, the actor and legendary bodybuilder shared why he continues to be a “big supporter” of the Secretary of Health and Human Services despite their political differences.

“I like Bobby Kennedy a lot. I don’t agree with everything, policy-wise, but I like him as a human being,” Schwarzenegger said.

“He called me and said, ‘Arnold, I have someone that will help you with the environment.’ He sent me Terry Tamminen,” Schwarzenegger said, crediting the environmental adviser with helping shape some of the state's most ambitious climate policies.

“Bobby Kennedy helped me,” Schwarzenegger added.

“Bobby is Bobby. I wish him good luck. I hope he does great things for the nation,” he said. “He’s not just some party guy—he’s a public servant. And we need more of that.”

“So when I ran as a Republican, and Democrat Bobby Kennedy helps me, I said to myself that I should always be there for him, no matter if I believe in everything that he does or not. I will always support him," he further added. 

“Your uncle gets shot and no one tells you the truth,” the FUBAR star continued. “Who was involved? For all these decades. Then your dad gets shot and no one tells you who was really involved. So of course, you develop this thing about conspiracy and then all of a sudden you see everything like a conspiracy. And so that’s why people have to understand where does he come from.”

While Schwarzenegger didn’t formally endorse Kennedy’s presidential campaign, he emphasized that his loyalty to the Kennedy family goes beyond political affiliations.

During his tenure as governor, Schwarzenegger spearheaded major environmental efforts in California, such as the 'Million Solar Roofs Plan' and ambitious pollution reduction targets—initiatives he says were inspired in part by Kennedy’s early influence.

Another wrote, "The Hollywood elite just keep on making it harder and harder to enjoy their enjoyable works of the past, by churning out impossible to enjoy content and commentary of the present." 

"From the same man that want to violated our rights," a critic wrote. 

"I think the terminator may be turning MAGA," someone else noted. 

"Arnold is a Democrat in a RINO suit. Untrustworthy," another added.
