LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A new twist in Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella's rumored marital issues emerged as the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pro removed his wife’s name from his Instagram bio.

Previously, Artem proudly showcased his marriage to the former WWE star, Nikki Garcia, with her account linked in his bio alongside a bride and diamond ring emoji.

However, a recent check of the 42-year-old dancer’s account, following his domestic violence arrest, reveals that his Instagram bio has been updated, as per Daily Mail.

Currently, his bio reads, “Father to Matteo, DWTS Pro Dancer, Emmy Nominated Choreographer, DWTS Mirror Ball Winner, SCD Mirror Ball Winner.”

Artem Chigvintsev updated his Instagram account following his high-profile domestic violence arrest over a week ago on August 29 at the couple’s marital home in Napa County, California. 

Though the victim’s identity has not been disclosed, fans began speculating tension between Artem and the 'Total Divas' star amid the rumors.

On that day, the couple reportedly made two 911 calls—first requesting assistance for an injury, then calling back to ask them not to come.

Nevertheless, the police arrived, suspecting domestic disturbances in the background, and arrested the Russian-born dancer.

He was booked into the Napa County Jail on felony domestic violence charges in the morning but was released later after posting a $25,000 bond.

Following the arrest, reports indicate that Artem is attempting to reconcile with his wife, but sources suggest the former WWE champion believes “divorce is the only option.”

Just days before their reported domestic incident, the couple celebrated the second anniversary of their 2022 Paris wedding with affectionate posts on Instagram.

Nevertheless, while Artem updated his Instagram profile, both of them still kept their anniversary posts and are still following each other. 

He is, however, expected to make an appearance at the court in Naoa on Tuesday and cannot leave Napa County until the case is resolved.

Amid the controversies, sources revealed that Artem Chigvintsev is trying to prove to his 40-year-old wife that he “can be a changed man,” even though Nikki thinks “divorce is the only option.”

A source close to the ‘DWTS’ star revealed to Daily Mail that he is in the “fight of his life” to win the love of his wife back. 

The source shared, “Artem is very frustrated and mad that he wasn't asked to be on this season of Dancing with the Stars, and now it looks like he will never be back.”

“His life professionally and personally is and has been flipped upside down,” shared the source referencing Artem being ousted from the current season of the dance reality show. 

They continued, “He doesn't know what his next steps are with Nikki, he has been upset for a long time and now he is in the fight of his life to clear his name and win back Nikki, but as of right now he hasn't decided what he might do to show her that he can be a changed man.”

Amid the disharmony, the couple allegedly have limited interactions, with the source sharing, “They currently have limited dialogue with each other.”

Moreover, they added, “If and when he sees Matteo, Nikki wants it supervised. Her trust has been thrown out the door and she is very angry with Artem, he has an uphill battle ahead of him. The whole thing is a mess.”

Just days after his arrest, it was also reported that Nikki was looking for a divorce lawyer, with the source sharing, "She has tried and tried to make it work, but she feels divorce is the only option."

"It hurts but Nikki is such a strong woman, and she is doing what is right for her, and for Matteo,” shared the source while highlighting that their four-year-old son is the primary focus of their lives. 

Meanwhile, Nikki also took off her wedding ring as she was seen boarding a plane to Las Vegas with her son Matteo and an assistant shortly after Artem's arrest.
