'As lively as a funeral home': Lara Trump trolled for calling Mar-a-Lago New Year's party 'most epic' in America

PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Lara Trump, former television producer and wife of Eric Trump - third child of Donald Trump, has found herself at the center of an internet controversy. 

The 41-year-old amateur singer said that the New Year's celebration at Mar-a-Lago was the most epic party of the year in America.

During her show 'The Right View', she exclaimed, "Vanilla Ice? Forget it! Ice, Ice, Baby? Ninja Rap? Like, what do you want from us? We’re doing everything super cool at Mar-a-Lago."

However, her comments were not well-received by netizens, with one comparing the event to a funeral home."

Lara recently made headlines for criticizing Green Day, accusing them of succumbing to a "corporate political agenda". This was in response to the band's new anti-MAGA lyrics in their song 'American Idiot.'"

Now, she is facing backlash for her comments about the New Year's celebration at Mar-a-Lago.

Additionally, there is speculation among people about whether she indulged in a "few key bumps during the party", as her voice suggested she might have caught a "cold."

Ron Filipkowski, a user on platform X with the title "Editor-in-Chief, MeidasTouch" in his bio, shared a video clip of Eric's wife.

He quoted Lara Trump's statement, and wrote, "Lara Trump says the Mar-a-Lago New Years Party was the most epic party of the year in America:"

Lara is heard in her video saying, "We’re doing everything super cool at Mar-a-Lago. I loved it."

She went on to say that It was a fantastic gathering with around 700 attendees.

"Of course the greatest president in the history of the country, my father in law Donald Trump was there with my husband, we had great group of friends. We had an awesome time," added Lara.
