COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA: Former South Carolina governor and GOP presidential contender, Nikki Haley, issued a stark warning for Republicans during her interview with CNN on Thursday, February 1.

Haley analyzed the results of a recent CNN poll with host Jake Tapper, which examined her odds as the GOP nominee against the incumbent President Joe Biden.

Additionally, Haley's chances against former President Donald Trump in the South Carolina primary were also evaluated during the discussion.

What did Nikki Haley warn Republican voters about during her interview?

The former United Nations ambassador implored voters in the GOP camp to be mindful when nominating their presidential candidate for the upcoming November elections.

Haley cited the dismal electoral showing for the Republicans under former President Donald Trump’s oversight during the 2018 US midterm elections, the 2020 presidential elections, and then once again during the 2022 midterm elections.

Haley remarked on Tapper’s weekday television news show ‘The Lead’ on Thursday, “So, if Republicans decide that they want to nominate Donald Trump, the same thing that happened in 2018, 2020, and 2022 will happen again in 2024.”

“You can’t keep doing the same thing and think you are going to get a different result,” she continued and said, “Donald Trump will lose the election for us.”

Recently, Nikki Haley's campaign launched a new series titled 'Grumpy Old Men' featuring digital ads, online videos, and voter emails that take direct aim at the perceived similarities between the two respective party stalwarts Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Haley posted a doctored image featuring the two senior presumptive presidential nominees on X with the caption, “The rematch nobody wants...”

The 52-year-old former South Carolina GOP lawmaker has ramped up her attacks against the 77-year-old GOP presidential frontrunner by going after his dismal track record ahead of the 24 February presidential primaries in the Palmetto State.

Internet sides with Nikki Haley on her argument against Donald Trump

People on X discovered a sound rationale in Haley's case against the former President, questioning his ability to mount a successful presidential challenge looking at the prior defeats the party has encountered under his leadership.

One X user remarked, "The GOP must break ties with Trump to avoid irrelevance. Embracing a more inclusive and forward looking approach is essential for the party to connect with a broader spectrum of voters and adapt to evolving political dynamics."

"Republican voters choice.. Trump Ego Vs WhiteHouse BUT NOT both.. Nikki Haley..safe bet.. She wins WhiteHouse, Congress and Senate..," another user said.

Another user opined, "Her stating she would pardon Trump if she were elected is not making a great argument for her…IMO"

"And he'll take more than a few Republicans down with him," one user wrote.

Another X user remarked, "Bang on."

One user tweeted, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."
