Ben Affleck’s pals fear he’s become a ‘love addict’ as he goes ‘back and forth’ with Jennifer Lopez
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ben Affleck is causing concern among his close friends as well as ex-wife Jennifer Garner as he goes back and forth with Jennifer Lopez amid their divorce drama.
The 52-year-old actor and the ‘On The Floor’ singer said “I do” to each other in 2022 but this year in August, Lopez filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason. She also mentioned the date of separation as April 26.
The divorce filing brought an end to 'Bennifer 2.0', as the former couple was once fondly known as.

However, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have reportedly been spotted together lately on many occasions along with their children, including going out for brunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month where both seemed to pack on the PDA.
An insider said at that time, as per InTouch Weekly, "Jennifer craves romance and adulation", while the filmmaker "is always looking for the next rush, whether it’s good for him or not. Ben’s treading a dangerous line being so handsy with his estranged wife."
Lopez is the mother of Max and Emme, 16, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The ‘Good Will Hunting’ star shares 18-year-old Violet, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner.
Ben Affleck has turned into ‘love addict’
Now, a tipster told In Touch Weekly, “Ben’s got a very addictive personality, and a lot of people think now that he’s sober, he’s switched vices and become a love addict.”
They continued, “It’s obviously giving him some sort of buzz to be sort of back and forth with Jennifer, even though he has no intention of going any further than having a little fun.”
The mole also revealed that Jennifer Garner “in particular, just thinks it’s a terrible idea.”
“For one thing, he’s messing with Jennifer's head, which is not kind. And it’s also sending mixed messages to the kids, which isn’t healthy,” they explained.
The source further stated, “It’s just putting everyone back on this awful roller-coaster. It really seems like he’s falling into a very toxic pattern, in the long run, this isn’t going to be good for anyone.”
“It just seems very self-destructive to be going down this path and people are begging him to get a grip and start acting with a little more intention instead of just following every urge he gets,” the insider added.

This came as another report claimed that Jennifer Lopez is introspecting after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck.
Jennifer suffered from heartbreak after things did not work out between her and Affleck again.
An insider disclosed, as per The Mirror, “It really did a number on her. She decided to do some introspection — she says four divorces will do that. Get ready for an all new Jennifer Lopez — she wants to start a new chapter.”
They mentioned, “She's determined to turn all this heartbreak into her superpower, to take ownership of any self-destruction and make changes.”
Another tipster had shared earlier that the 55-year-old dancer’s friends feel that she should take a look inside and focus on herself instead of what others want her to be and "finally figure out who she is and what she wants from her future".
