Devastating impact of the LA fires

The wildfires have wreaked havoc across Los Angeles County. As of January 12, the death count reached 24, with 16 victims in the Eaton fire zone and eight in the Palisades area, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

More than 23,000 acres have been consumed by the Palisades Fire, which is only 11% contained, reported People.

The Eaton Fire has also caused widespread destruction, leaving thousands displaced and countless properties destroyed.
