LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Blake Lively is reportedly "fearing" about her career due to the ongoing controversy surrounding 'It Ends With Us' and is considering "taking a step back" to "reassess her future."

As the film's release approached, speculation about a feud between the 36-year-old actress and her costar Justin Baldoni, 40, captured headlines, leading to intense online scrutiny of both stars.

Lively has faced criticism for promoting the film through her alcohol brand, given its focus on domestic abuse, and for seemingly downplaying serious questions about the film's themes during interviews.

An insider told DailyMail that the 'Gossip Girl' alum is deeply concerned that the intense backlash could affect her future job prospects.

The source noted that Lively had hoped this project would be "her moment to shine," but now fears it might signal "the end of her career."

“She thought this was her moment to shine but is now looking at it like the end of her career. She’s fearing no one will want to work with her after this," the insider explained.

The insider concluded, “She really wants to continue producing and directing and acting but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future.”

As of August 25th, Blake Lively's representatives have yet to comment on the claims.

After Blake Lively expressed concerns about her future projects due to the drama surrounding 'It Ends With Us', the internet erupted with discussions about her character. Some critics accused her of being rude.

One user claimed, "She brought all this negativity onto herself. She hasn't even addressed anything, like she thinks it'll go away on its own. Maybe so but don't be surprised if all this comes up again when she tries to put out something new." [sic]

The second wrote, "Film career?  She's not exactly had a stellar one, but she's done well enough that she could never work a day in her life again," while the other wrote, "Hopefully Blake will use this as fuel to get better at her craft . Not to be so surfaced about her characters she plays. Blake just needs to do better." [sic]

A person stated, "She’s rude and a bad actress. Happy to see this one go." Another penned, "It’s a legitimate fear."

The last user commented, "She should just start doing community service. Whenever a celebrity does something wrong... I know it's something illegal... and Blake's abhorrent behavior is legal, they do community service, and all is absolved and forgotten. She could start a new trend."

'It Ends With Us', adapted from Colleen Hoover's novel, centers on Lily Bloom, played by Blake Lively, who becomes entangled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid, portrayed by Justin Baldoni.

Speculation about a rift between the two stars arose when fans observed their lack of joint promotional appearances before the film's release and their absence of interaction at the movie's red-carpet premiere in Los Angeles.

A source previously disclosed that tensions arose between Lively and Baldoni due to his reportedly "dismissive" attitude toward her input during scenes involving abuse.

The insider claimed, "During scenes depicting abuse, Justin failed to consider Blake's character's perspective, instead focusing solely on what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint. His approach was very chauvinistic, creating a tense atmosphere on set."

According to the source, "Justin almost became the character in the sense that some women on set felt he was borderline abusive to them and that he was unprofessional and unapologetic."

They criticized, "Directing a film so serious and so important about domestic abuse without allowing the women to be included in this process is disturbing."

Days later, Source reported additional tensions, alleging that Blake felt "fat-shamed" by Justin.

The incident reportedly happened when Justin, who has back issues, asked a trainer about Blake’s weight and how to prepare his back for a scene where he needed to lift her. Blake reportedly felt uncomfortable upon learning about these comments.
