Blake Lively’s high schoolmate gives glimpse of ‘not-so-nice’ things about actress amid lawsuit
In a video shared on January 24, celebrity hairstylist Linet Keshishian revealed that she and Blake Lively attended high school together.
The video, titled "Blake Lively in high school versus now. We Were in ASB together," took a trip down memory lane, bringing up some not-so-sweet memories from their high school days.
Keshishian recalled, "Blake Lively and I went to high school together. In fact, we were both in ASB (Associated Student Body) at the same time." She went on to say, "I was vice president of the school at the time and she was president of her class at the time."
Shifting to current events, Keshishian commented on the rumors swirling around Lively, noting, "Let me just say, the rumors that are going on and on about her, a lot of friends of hers are people who knew her from high school."
She revealed how mutual friends are reacting to Lively’s lawsuit: "Some of them are backing her up while others are full on coming out … mutual friends of ours literally talking trash, to say it nicely."
Keshishian added, "There’s not so nice things remembered about her and it’s all kind of sad. She was in cheer and choir, I believe. But some of us were nicer than others. And so, there’s a lot of us from high school who aren’t that surprised about the nasty stuff that has come out."
The video ended with Keshishian asking, "Anyone from Burbank High want to chime in? What are your thoughts?"
Blake Lively’s ex-classmate's claim sparks discussion online
Blake Lively's high schoolmate's video, which has garnered over 1K comments, has sparked a quick response from many netizens. While some agree with celebrity hairstylist's take on Lively’s high school days, others are questioning its authenticity and wondering how opinions from years ago are relevant to her current lawsuit.
One user agreed, "Heard the same from my friend."
One social media user urged others to share their opinion, "Please chime in guys, tell us EVERYTHING and remember....this is a safe space ok...🫂❤️🩹"
One supporter of Blake Lively said, "People like this woman can’t say anything about what happened to Blake lively on Saturday. They weren’t there on set. Whether or not they liked her in high school irrelevant to this issue"
One more fan added, "I’m not on Blake’s side in this at all, but high school was a long time ago. people grow up and change, so to compare ANYONE to who they were 20 years ago is unfair."
One Tiktoker commented, "People usually stay the same. I can see that."
Finally a user stated, "Do you have any proof whatsoever?? cause anyone cam come and say "i've been at school with x"..."
