Blue Ivy Carter sparks confusion as fans mistake her for mom Beyonce at Super Bowl: 'They are twins'

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z, left fans in awe at the 2025 Super Bowl, where she was spotted alongside her father and little sister, Rumi Carter, seven. 

While the trio posed for a picture on the sideline, Blue Ivy's striking resemblance to her pop star mother caused quite a stir on social media.

The trio looked incredibly stylish in coordinating outfits. Blue Ivy Carter wore a chic leather jacket paired with loose-fitting jeans and sneakers, her braided hair styled with body waves that mimicked Beyonce's signature look. She accessorized with thin necklaces and sunglasses, completing the fashion-forward ensemble.

Jay-Z, always sharp, wore a black T-shirt, matching fitted pants, and white shoes, along with a pair of sunglasses. Rumi, not to be outdone, sported a black and white jacket, jeans, and white sneakers, looking just as fashionable as her big sister. The trio sported a similar look at last year's Super Bowl. 

However, it was Blue Ivy's appearance that had fans doing a double-take this year. At a quick glance, many mistook her for Beyonce herself, especially due to her striking resemblance to her mother.

The photo of Jay-Z with his daughters quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), and netizens were quick to point out how easily they had confused Blue Ivy Carter for Beyonce.

One said, "I thought that was Beyoncé she looks just like her mother lol," and another wrote, "The way I thought that was Beyonce for a second."

"I thought this was Beyoncé the first 3 times i saw this lolllllll," one more wrote, with someone else adding, "I really thought that was Bey…the resemblance is uncanny!!"

Drawing a comparison, a person asserted, "Blue Ivy has Beyoncé’s WHOLE face, even the same smile.. they are twins!" "The way blue is just beyoncé reborn," a fan wrote. 

Among the many who mistook Blue Ivy for Beyonce, many questioned if the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker was present at the event.  

One asked, "Okay so… where’s Beyonce?" and another speculated, "Beyoncé couldn’t come cause she at rehearsals. I know that’s right." 

While Beyonce wasn't seen in the photo taken ahead of the game, it's unclear if she and her son, Sir Carter, Rumi's twin, were present at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, as per The Mirror US.
