WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump and Melania Trump appear to have contrasting approaches to parenting, offering unique insights into their family dynamic. The couple, who have been married since 2005, share a son Barron, born on March 20, 2006.

According to a body language expert’s observations, their distinct parenting styles are apparent in the way they interact with their 19-year-old son, who recently made the move to New York City to attend NYU.

As Donald Trump embarks on his second term, he seems eager to put Barron in the spotlight, showing a desire to highlight his son’s qualities. In contrast, Melania is seen as the more cautious and protective figure.

Body language expert Judi James observed, "Trump's body language signals with his son Barron suggest he is a bit of a 'Lion King' papa, proudly presenting the boy to the world while hinting he is a chip off the old block."

On the other hand, Melania’s gestures reveal her nurturing side, as she focuses on shielding Barron, as per Irish Star.

James noted, "While Melania's envelopment and support gestures suggest a more protective and nurturing approach, with her arm wrapped around her son as he leans forward in the oldest photo, and then both hands used for gentle support and restraint as he starts to toddle in some of the later ones."

Judi also commented on Trump's signature stance with Barron, pointing out his “pride and endorsement.”

She explained, "As Barron gets older Trump tends to stand him directly in front of himself, clutching both his shoulders in a gesture of pride and endorsement. The clasp allows the young Barron to adopt a similar, upright with slightly splayed legs pose as his dad."

James concluded, "Finally, once Barron grows taller and those 'stabilizer' hands come off, Trump appears to display confidence in his son by allowing him his body language independence."

Barron Trump is no longer the reserved child he once was. Melania shared with Irish Star, "It's fascinating to see that now Barron has ‘unfurled’ or grown into his own tall frame and learnt to project confidence and even to begin to showboat a little in the spotlight like his father."

At 19, Barron has officially outgrown his boyhood image. Once a quiet presence during Trump's first White House term, he is now stepping into the spotlight as a young man in ways that surprise many.

James noted that Barron isn't just maturing - he’s also adopting a more active role in public life.

"He seems to have adopted the body language role of his mother’s ‘wingman,’ creating a watchful and more sociable presence at public events," she observed.

With Trump often focused on global politics, it’s natural that Melania would turn to her son for support.

James explained, "Melania appears as proud as ever with her son, who is the companion in public that Trump himself can’t always be when he is center stage."

She added, "Melania and Barron are beginning to look like a well-choreographed double act, with increasing signs of natural symmetry, especially as Barron seems to have inherited his mother's elegance and possibly some of her visual charm."
